But the other books I read all in one go and so fast, and so, not putting down this book type of way that well, it all kind of blended together, and then I watched Game of Thrones, so that didn’t help matters. The Lost Book of The White takes us forward in time or further (way further) than The Red Scrolls of Magic, which I recommend you first read City of Bones before diving into that one, although it is not necessary.

So, I loved book 2 of The Eldest Curses, does that come across? Sometimes I don’t know if it really does. But I did, and it took me a while to write this one because… life, so my memories are a bit far away.

I thought to make a quick (debatable) post on some good YA Fantasy books to get you started on this genre, or if you know all of them already, then you can just be reminded of some of these cool books.

Please, be advised that this is my very biased opinion, and we all know that not all of us like the same books or authors and that’s okay. We all have different tastes. ☀️

That said, here are the ten books that I would recommend to get started in the YA Fantasy world, and don’t be frightened to explore a new book. All or some books might be ten years old but it does not mean they’re not just as good as any other book.

Books Set in the UK Challenge
