10 YA Fantasy Books to Get Started

“They dreamed through golden days and silvered nights. All the other creatures envied or adored them, because Death and the Elemental were destruction and creation joined as One. In the natural order of things, they should not have been stronger joined. And yet they were.”
The Sweetest Dark

Hello, dearies! 😎

I thought to make a quick (debatable) post on some good YA Fantasy books to get you started on this genre, or if you know all of them already, then you can just be reminded of some of these cool books.

Please, be advised that this is my very biased opinion, and we all know that not all of us like the same books or authors and that’s okay. We all have different tastes. ☀️

That said, here are the ten books that I would recommend to get started in the YA Fantasy world, and don’t be frightened to explore a new book. All or some books might be ten years old but it does not mean they’re not just as good as any other book.

Alright, alright, I’m starting now.

February Recommended List for Heartbreaks and Swoons

“Once you dissolve dye in water, you can’t take it back out. It’s like that. I can’t take you out of me. It means cutting out my heart, and I don’t like myself without my heart, I know that now.”
Queen of Air and Darkness

Hello, dearies! Is February, can you believe it?

I can. I think that January passed by slowly and at the same time not. Perhaps that means this year will be kinder to us than the past two.

Last time I went with the couples we idealise, but this February 2022, I decided to share some of the books that have broken my heart and some that had made me swoon because there is always those with the HEA and those that leave you crying on the floor. And there are some which have both of these features, they break you and patch you up again in the same book, a rollercoaster because, why not?

Let’s get started. 😊

Hello, dearies!

Is December going well? Every day seems to get colder over here, but we don’t have snow so it’s only that, cold, cold, cold. 🧣🥶

Today, I decided to bring a little Christmas back as I did in 2020, though I did this in 2018 as well, they were not all related to Christmas, you can still check those out and maybe find another good read that you haven’t seen before.

Okay, let’s start with this 2021 Christmas-related book recommendations. Oh, they are not from this year but I saw this time around and thought they looked interested enough.

Note: This post contains affiliate links, which means I get a tiny commission if you get one of the books, but the prices do not change for you. Thank you for understanding.

Chuck and Kate head home for Christmas, determined to tell the truth—and end up accidentally engaged instead. The more they try to pull apart, the more the Universe seems to push them back together, shortening the road to the altar. And when just-for-show kisses stir up forgotten feelings, things get even more complicated.

Now, with the midnight hour approaching, will Chuck and Kate’s relationship turn out to be fake or real?

Happy Reading! 🎄

What’s up, December?

Wow! First Day of the Last Month of this 2021.

Happy December, dearies! I trust this one started full of reading and happy thoughts for everyone.

Since it’s already here, then we might as well make the best of it, right? No point in crying over spill potion. As 2022 comes closer and closer, it has become increasingly and shockingly obvious that all the books I was supposed to read this time around did not happen. I had a few difficult months and still going through it all, but have decided to keep going. 💪
