Friday Flashback: Hocus Pocus

“Sisters, All Hallow’s Eve has become a night of frolic, where children wear costumes and run amok!”

Happy Friday, dearies! 🎥

Sorry, I missed one of these last week, but it was hectic.

Why don’t you schedule? The whole week was hectic, so I beseech you, bear with me on this one.

Alright, so Hocus Pocus was a great movie, the original I mean. It’s one of my favourite movies to watch on Halloween and any other holiday, I can catch it on TV in the middle of it and keep on watching.

The story of Hocus Pocus, in case you haven’t watched it or heard of it, is about a kid and two teenagers who find this book that belonged to witches and they cast a spell, and then all hell breaks loose in their town on Halloween night. 🎃

And it’s funny, so you have a few laughs and enjoy a great one.

Yes, recently they made a new movie but we haven’t watched it yet, it’ll premiere this year if I’m not mistaken.

Well, that was this Friday’s Flashback, dearies. Hope you remembered a great movie and an oldie. It’s still Friday for me, yes.

Flashback: The 5th Wave

“You can only call someone crazy if there’s someone else who’s normal. Like good and evil. If everything was good, then nothing would be good.”

Hello, dearies! 📙

This is not a book review.

Here we are again, another week, another throwback or flashback as it is, a Friday Flashback. Last week, I started this little section with a review (sort of) for The Bane Chronicles: Saving Raphael Santiago, which marked the first look into the past, and it was a TBT.

Now, this week I decided to go with a book that I loved in the past, and on the second round of reading it, The 5th Wave. I have a review already for this back, and it was done a long time ago, you can check it out here: The 5th Wave review.

This time around, I wanted to talk about some of the characters and the story. Let’s begin. 📚
