Hey there, dearies! 👽
Another week, another book. Nah, I don’t go by those kinds of rules. Here we are with Obsession, don’t let the title fool you or discourage you from reading this awesome one.
Obsession is part of the Lux series and follows the story of Hunter, you might remember him from Opposition. Oh, and Serena Cross, sorry, the main lead.
I first read this book years ago, don’t ask me when because I cannot remember, but when I saw what it was about, I immediately jumped on the opportunity to know more about the Lux world, and then that paled in comparison to how cool this book is, in the ranks of hide it from prying eyes, don’t let underage readers close to it, and be happy the heat will be on when reading it.
I’ve read Obsession a couple of times (maybe 3) by now, and I do not get tired of reading it. It’s not just that Jennifer Armentrout can write a book and suck you into it and keep you in there until the end, but the story is great, it has funny moments, blushing ones and heart-throbbing shriek-filled ones.
It’s been a while since I hype a book this much, but you might have noticed that the ones I talk up so much are the ones by my favourite authors or in my favourite series like Lux, Origin, Shadowhunters, Lunar, and I cannot help it.
This one is short and to the point because I rather you read it without much context other than it’s awesome and a good read. But don’t just take my word for it, if you enjoy fantasy and romance in one package, then you will enjoy Obsession.
Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something… unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.
Convinced yet? I hope so. Let me know if you read or will read this one, dearies! And thank you for sticking to the end. 👽

Happy Reading! 🤗
