A Song Of Ice and Fire #5
Author: George R. R. Martin
Since we are not getting A Song of Ice and Fire #6 – The Winds of Winter anytime soon, I might as well write about A Dance with Dragons, which is my favourite book so far in this saga. Especially because of Dany.
On that note, I love this one. It is quite interesting to say the least. If you are mainly a fan on the HBO Tv Series, then good for you that’s nice. However, the books? What can I say? I have a freaking main page in this blog solely dedicated to it, doesn’t that say how awesome they are? I confess I started reading the books after season one of GOT but come on, you see the series you go running face first into the books and then… nothing, you stay in limbo because Mr Martin haven’t published the 6th book.
The Book
Let us talk about the 5th one, which at least we have read or intent to, or are thinking about it. You must be thinking about if you are here or you have already spent hours… your eyes burning with exhaustion… shadows under your eyes, while you focus on this book… It has so many little details you end up something like: I can’t believe it! And when you finally catch on to whatever craziness is happening in the current chapter… it ends… and you must start all over again: Are you kidding me?
Basically, you get angry, happy, sad, euphoric when an important character appears, you start pulling your hair once you realize you won’t finish the chapter in time to get to your life, since you read it in between blank spaces where you get a breath of air from that annoyed world called work and life. And finally to top it all, you get to the last line of the book that one, you know which… the one where you know who did you know what at that place called you know how, you read that line and tried to pass into the next page and realized too late that there isn’t another page because that was the biggest cliff-hanger in history, awesome, right?
Don’t you agree? Not!
Well, at least that was what happened to me… it was my personal, horrifying experience while reading A Dance with Dragons. I laid there on the couch, staring out the window thinking about what happened last with others characters since it meant that what I have read was indeed the last bit I would know about them for a really long time, and here I am I believe 2 years later… still waiting for the 6th book to come out, now there isn’t even a date. It has changed so much that any estimated release date has me like: Seriously? I don’t believe you I will do so when I see the book on shelves somewhere.
And that would be all, by now you should know that if it is a book such as this one I will not say much of what happens because it would be a huge spoiler and I rather you read, or if you prefer to just know the facts find them elsewhere, like ASOIAF Wiki. Personally, I would recommend for you to read it. And if you have seen season 4th of Game Of Thrones, then start reading from book 3 or half of book 2 forward because for a time now, the series took its own pathway. They even have stuff from the 5th book there, I was shocked and excited… I have mixed feelings about the series, I love it of course but also I am trying to get into my head the fact that they have gone of the rail and are doing what they want and simply basing facts on the books and nothing more.
I believe that is all for real, at least for now. I still have Dany’s part to write on the ASOIAF Page you can see here on this blog, not just hers… it will be more about The Targaryen, be in touch I will be posting soon.
Hope you liked this one and I truly hope you return, read a good book today. Reread one that you liked a lot. Don’t forget to share or like in the social world with @EachPage. ‘Till the next one. Happy Reading!

Hey, this summer, a friend of mine in the publishing world told me that GRRM had delivered the manuscript for Book Six, and typically these things take 9 months or so for editing/prep/publishing, so I’m hoping Book Six will come out right after season 5 wraps up.
Hang in there. We’ll all be reading Book Six together.
