With this one, The Rise of the Hotel Dumort, we jumped ahead in time to 1929, and not only that but New York, meaning the place where The Mortal Instruments will be lively, in the future; but we are still years away from that, and we experience the Hotel Dumort and what happened to it and their vampires. 🧛

This is a tale we wanted to know about from the TMI series, where we read about the Hotel and the past, and Magnus, so we go there and check out the events. I know I’m not saying that much, but this story is worth reading for the first time with an unbias look, so I’ll leave it to Magnus to tell you the story.

Hello, dearies! I watched Maid Sama! a long time ago, it seems it was ages past but more like ten years ago. It made me want to re-watch it.

After watching it, I was in a frenzy because I wanted to know what else had happened since, as with many anime, you don’t quite know what happens in the end and you don’t get the whole story. There are very few that follow the original story, this is a bookish (readers) problem that we often find the adaptations to be lacking in some way. But with anime, you get a little more excited and can watch calmly.

Today I finished The Promise of Rain, and said, wow, the difference between reading an enjoyable book and when I don’t. Why? Because I read this one so fast, I couldn’t get enough of it, I had to finish it and know all their secrets. Unlike when I read The King’s Obsession, which I started last year and finished not long ago.

I hope I will make this clear and not ramble on too much. My feelings about Anne Boleyn: A King’s Obsession are mixed, and I mean that for real. I had the highest of hopes for this book, and it did not turn out as I expected it to be.

Hello, dearies! Is February, can you believe it?

I can. I think that January passed by slowly and at the same time not. Perhaps that means this year will be kinder to us than the past two.

Last time I went with the couples we idealise, but this February 2022, I decided to share some of the books that have broken my heart and some that had made me swoon because there is always those with the HEA and those that leave you crying on the floor. And there are some which have both of these features, they break you and patch you up again in the same book, a rollercoaster because, why not?

Hello, dearies! How is January ending?

I managed to post more than I expected this month, so I’m happy.

I recently finished Hotel Del Luna, and I had my suspicion that I would like it but I really enjoyed it, and it was so much fun to watch with my mom, she joined me mid-story but caught on quickly, and was into the story. Is something else when the elderly love K-Dramas as much as you do, you know they’re good. 😀
