I thought I had posted about this one before, but it seems I didn’t.

Hello, dearies! I hope you’re enjoying the quick reviews about the Shadowhunters world. ๐Ÿ“–

And this is all from memory, I haven’t read this book again in a while, and it’s past time that I do because there will be another one in stores soon, and I am yet to read Chain of Iron, but I am a little afraid to do so, just like I am of finishing The Brightest Night, I want to, but then it will be all over, so I have been postponing it.

Now, for the Ghosts of the Shadow Market, which I think is on my top 5 of books that I love in the Shadow World, it was all Jem on these short stories, and you can check out my other reviews on my Shadow World section. ๐Ÿ’˜

This one about Son of the Dawn will be so short, you will hardly believe it.

Son of the Dawn

Since I first read about Brother Zachariah, I had wondered about him, but soon after finishing TMI and TID, a question loomed, elusive and as if no one cared, little that I know that Jace and Jem would give me the answer.

Why Zachariah? Why did he chooseโ€‹ that name?

And now I know what it means, how my heart shrank with pain and longing for Jem, how he made me cry when Jace asked him about the initials on his staff????? The W.H. tears filled me, I admit it, this one is just too much.

And those were my thoughts precisely after reading each point in Son of the Dawn.

It was a surprise, a sad yet great one to read. It made me fall for Jem, Jace, the whole shadow world, universe, stories, all over again. I know it must be obvious, but this world is the one I know the most (besides the Idhun books), and every time I read a book about shadowhunters, I cannot help but love it.
