I come with News: The Lunar Chronicles Movie is Happening

New The Lunar Chronicles news… about the upcoming animated movie.

Yes, we sort of already knew about it.

But it was not confirmed, confirmed, and there was no date but now there it is! So excited about seeing The Lunar Chronicles.

Last time on the blog: The Lunar Chronicles: Animated News

Now, recently Marissa Meyer, announced the official date for the movie or she told us to go read the news on Deadline.

And even when it doesn’t say much other than it will be in theaters in Nov. 3, 2028, I’m still going to wait for it, three years, is not much, right? Right? (it is *whispered sigh*).

9 Books that I can easily re-read every year… some times twice a year

“The meek may inherit the earth, but at the moment it belongs to the conceited. Like me.”
From City of Bones

Hello, dearies! 📚

Welcome to another ranting on books that not everyone might know about, but I am very attached to and like a lot, and I don’t mind re-reading them over and over, even when I have a reading list (or TBR if you prefer) the size of a town.

So, what are some books that I wouldn’t get tired of reading? You might be surprised, because I certainly was when thinking back and trying to figure out, what would be that book that I want to re-read?

And so, here I am, sharing because I am kind like that. 😆

Spoiler Time Sunday: TLC Scarlet

What is it about Wolf? How is Scarlet going to figure out the dark secrets he hides? She might not, or she might be in for a surprise. 🍅

Hello, dearies! 🍒🍅

Welcome to a new spoiler time Sunday, this time it’ll be for Scarlet, book #2 in The Lunar Chronicles Saga.

Heads-up, I love these books. 🌒

So, I might have more of these coming up. There’s a lot to say about these books that might be spoiler.

Spoiler Time Sunday: Cinder – Odd Queries

Have you ever wondered, what is Cinder The Lunar Chronicles about? I did before reading the book and now I can tell you what Cinder is about.

Hello, dearies! 👠

It’s Sunday! But I nearly forgot about today’s spoiler time, so for this Sunday I decided to go with Cinder, which is book 1 in The Lunar Chronicles saga (series).

Most of you might know or if you read the description of the book that this is a fairytale retelling of Cinderella. Yes, and there’s no spoiler in that, for context here is the description of Cinder.

The Keeper: A Stars Above Story

“It’s an unassuming name, but also . . . powerful. Because of where she came from.”

Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Book: Stars Above

Story: The Keeper

Author: Marissa Meyer

Genres: Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Retellings, Short Stories

This will be short. 😆

So, I am slowly but surely making my way through the stories in Stars Above. I read it all in the wrong order, so don’t judge me. You can check my other reviews for it here.

This one, The Keeper, is the first story in the book. If you have ever read The Lunar Chronicles book 1 to 4, then you will probably be into reading this one. If you haven’t already.

OneWord Book Challenge

Hello, dearies!

How’s the week so far? Halloween is around the corner, and I decided to come in with a little challenge that I found on Instagram, another, yes.

This time around is for the OneWord, the challenge is supposed to be a stack of books with One Word titles, but I am doing it here, and what do you know? I have a list of book titles that are one word and from one series, cool? I think so, but I’ll include other titles too, even if I love this particular series.

Here we go. 📚

Stars Above – 1.5 and 3.1

The Queen’s Army and Carswell Guide to Being Lucky. Two stories that moved me in different ways.

Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Author: Marissa Meyer

This one will be short and sweet, just wanted to showcase these 2 stories in the Stars Above compilation.

This may contain spoilers for those who had not read any of The Lunar Chronicles books. Beware.

The Queen’s Army (The Lunar Chronicles #1.5)

While I love these books, there is also something very savage about the Lunar stories. Worst of them all is seeing what children in Luna go through, like with this one and what Ze’ev had to face.

The Lunar Chronicles 4: Winter ❄️

It doesn’t usually happen that I find a book to have me gaping, almost screaming, nearly crying, laughing, insulting the characters, but the best ones do, or at least does that make you go in and be part of the story for real, feel all that they are feeling, intense, magical, heartwarming, all those little things we feel while reading Winter.

Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Author: Marissa Meyer

Genre: Sci-fi, fantasy, romance (sort of), YA, Dystopia, Retellings

I think this is going to take a little while to come together.

After all the scary moments, all the times I said, this is it, this is where she kills them, her, him, one of them is going to be left alone and wandering without love, then another of my fav would come into the scene and there I was again thinking the same, what a rollercoaster.

The Lunar Chronicles 3: Cress

It doesn’t usually happen, but Marissa sometimes manages to shock me and made me scream and curse at the pages of books, and I had some of those moments with Cress. And the last page took me by surprise, I was so engrossed in it, that I turned and when I saw the Acknowledgements page my jaw fell. I knew I would finish this book way too quickly

Author: Marissa Meyer

Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Genre: Sci-fi, fantasy, romance (sort of), YA, Dystopia, Retellings
