Revisiting Arc n’ Book Seoul in 2025: One Time was Not Enough

New visit to Arc n’ Book in Seoul (Autumn 2025), I returned for the amazing atmosphere and to pick up new items, including a Harry Potter journal and mini books. I’m seeking similar bookstore recommendations worldwide for future travels.

Hello, dearies! Welcome to a new bookish adventure!

First things first, did you see or read about my visit to Arc n’ Book in Seoul – 2024? That was the link to it, the one you just saw. Well, the first impression of a place that I have seen in pictures was incredible, it was a must-see for me.

So, what to do in my third trip to Korea in 2025? I had to go to Arc n’ Book once again, because… there is no special reason other than I liked it, and I went looking for something new to buy. And I did.

Now, did I go to the same one as in 2024? I did, that is the one located at LOTTE WORLD MALL. On the 4th Floor, the exact address, though you don’t really need it, is 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea. If you go on the subway, stop at Jamsil Station (Line 2 and 8), and from there follow the signs.

Book Challenge: The Timeline Book Quest

“The consequences of our actions are always so complicated, so diverse, that predicting the future is a very difficult business indeed.”

Hello, dearies! 🍁

Here we are with a new challenge, at this point I should make a blog page solely for the book challenges, I have quite a few now. Should I?

Why not? 😆

shouldn't i keep it

Anyway, you can check out the new page of the blog with all book challenges listed on here: Book Challenges.

Created and inspired by this post.

Maybe I should I explain what this book challenge is about, I have rambled on enough. The Timeline Book Quest is about the books I have read and their years of publication or rather a list of years and checking if I read a book from that year. Let’s check it out.

Flashback: Songs inspired by GOT and ASOIAF

Are we still waiting for new GOT books? Yes. So what to do while we wait? Let’s check out some tunes that were inspired by GOT and ASOIAF. It’s the least we can do.

Hi, dearies! 🎧

I suppose you have seen or rather heard some songs that remind you of Game of Thrones, and did you think, hey, was this song written or inspired by GOT? I sure did a couple of times.

This post will also act as a Friday Flashback because well, it is Game of Thrones we are talking about after all. And A Song of Ice and Fire, which is not over yet but let’s face it, we have been waiting forever to read the sequel to A Dance with Dragons.

What type of books do you give 5 stars to?

A book that earns 5 stars is one that captivates, evokes strong emotions, and keeps you engaged in the story. Not always but generally it goes like this. 😎

Spoiler alert, it’s not just the fantasy one… not always.

Hello, dearies! 😎

I was considering the stars system and the books, and I have always said that if I could give more stars to a book I would, which technically I can if I want but not on Goodreads of course. In life.

Anyway, as my latest read was a 5 star because that’s how much I liked it. I thought of this question, what type of books do you give 5 stars to?

A Storm of Swords: Flashback

“Old stories are like old friends, she used to say. You have to visit them from time to time.”

Author: George RR Martin

Genres: Fiction, Fantasy,

Series: A Song of Ice and Fire Book #3

Friday Flashback (Flashback Friday)

I had some confusion going with this one and A Clash of Kings. Don’t know why, don’t how that happened. Perhaps because I read all three books in a row. A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, and this one A Storm of Swords.

Welcome, September! Days later but it is here!

How is September going to be?

Happy September, dearies! 🍂

Fall is almost here!

Yes, it’s my favourite season! How did you guys know? 🤣

Anyway, September is here, and perhaps it’ll be a great one for reading, even when I am still reading Dune because, my goodness what a long book. But I’m halfway through it so if that’s done soon, I’ll be able to move on to some romances that are waiting for me. Or a few fantasy books that I have on my TBR since forever, honestly, the list is long, and I cannot decide on one right now.
