Hello, dearies! Happy New Year! 🎆
A New Year, a new life, nah, just kidding, same life as before, it’s only a new number in the year but same things happening. That sounded a bit dark on my end, but it’s also true.
Now, I don’t usually do recaps or stuff like this, but here we are because 2021 make me write tons of posts for some reason, so I’ll try to convey the ones I liked the most next. Including those where I rambled on about book characters. 😆
And sometimes book challenges.
2021 Blog ReCap
January was the month for the Book Characters, mostly. Izzy Lightwood from the Shadowhunter world and Jack from The Idhun Chronicles, two characters that in their way can hold your attention and keep it. So this one is shared, Jack and Izzy.
The heart-y month, so this one goes to the Couples in books that we love and idealise (most of the time).
In March, I finally finished The Duke and I, and was relieved about that because it had dragged me down in my reading.
I’m laughing before even writing this. 🤣 But it seemed I was in a roll with The Duke and I rambling and was recommending other books that were real good and nobody seem to have ever heard of, so if you read The Duke and I then you should read… 👀 📚
Huh, the empty month. I was travelling, perhaps it was because of that.
A few ones were added in June, but I got around to writing the review for The Prisoner of Azkaban and so I continued my journey through Hogwarts.
Ah July. I finally finished The Last Star, which had been on my TBR forever, and well, I was disappointed by the end it had, but at least I read it.
Wow, for August the main thing was The Idhun Chronicles part 2, which I hadn’t watched, I thought this had been earlier in the year but apparently, I finished it in August, and wanted more, only because I love the story in the books, the Netflix show was alright and they really tried.
I did a post on this month but it was a personal one, life events and such.
In October, I tried to come back and make it as varied as possible, so I was active during my month (My birthday is just before Halloween). I did a couple of book challenges like OneWord Book Challenge and Re-read book challenge. But I also did a book character post for Alice Cullen, and continued onward with HP related posts and did The Goblet of Fire, among other posts. I think this was my most productive month.
November was less active but I finished The Last Mermaid, which was on my TBR for a while, so it was a personal good job to myself. I also shared my thoughts on Interview with the Vampire, the book, and a little bit about the movie too.
And we reached the end of the Year, aka, a few days ago. Out of the reviews I did, I’ll have to choose Beautiful Disaster because I want to watch the upcoming movie, even if I might be dissapointed because movies or even series can do that. I also talked about The Tales of Beedle the Bard and Magnus Bane, you can check out those if you’d like. 😊
That’s it, dearies! Hope you found something new or remember that post that you wanted to check out but forgot. 📚
Thank you for always reading and sticking to the end, and don’t forget that I’m active on IG most of the time and Pinterest. Hope you have a great new year. 🎊🎆
