Today, I’ll answer one big question from The Idhun Chronicles, is there romance there? Or is it just fantasy? It’s spoiler time!
Hello, dearies! 📖➡️
Here we are once more on a Sunday and with some spoilers.
I’ll dive right into it because there’s no time like the present, I started this section with some spoilers from the Wizarding World, you can check it out on that link you just pass it. 👀
So, if you’re an avid reader of my blog, you might know that I’m a big fan of The Idhun Chronicles (Memorias de Idhún), a Spanish trilogy by author Laura Gallego. But I have seen a question going around that it’s big spoiler, well, I have seen a couple but today I’ll answer this one: Is there romance in The Idhun Chronicles?
This is a funny one for me, because what do you mean, people on the internet? Anyway, the short answer is this: Yes, there is romance in The Idhún Chronicles.
Now, for the long answer, which contains many spoilers and if you haven’t read the books but intent on reading, then this post is not for you. I mean it, you can stop reading here and thank you for stopping by.
‘Together with Victoria, a girl he has just met, he will start a fight of unexpected proportions. Their fate will be inexorably linked to the Resistance, a small group fighting for the freedom of a world called Idhún. Will he be able to restore the lost peace?’
Book: The Idhún Chronicles (Memorias de Idhún)
Main Character: Yes
Powers: Yes
Author of the Book: Laura Gallego
Hello there, dearies!
I had decided not to do one on Victoria from The Idhún Chronicles, but then I saw that this question existed: in the books the idhun chronicles is victoria in love with jack.
Now, I’m not one to give spoilers at all, but I feel like I have to answer some doubts since I am basically an encyclopedia about Idhún. I do not get tired of talking about these books, thinking about what happened in them or re-reading them, and I have lost count of the times that I had picked up one of these books, opened it to any page and read from there.
The Idhun Chronicles, the story we wished for years to become a realisation. Adaptation from Spanish trilogy Memorias de Idhún by Laura Gallego.
Where? Netflix.
Based on a Book? Yes.
For the review of the books, you can go here: Idhun’s Memories. 📙
Hello, dearies! It’s August of 2021, as in we are past the mid-year mark, as we are almost looking at Autumn in the eye, and I finally watched the second part of The Idhun Chronicles, I know it took me some time, but I already knew what it was about and where it was headed knowing the end of the book and all, and knowing that there are no more seasons or parts or nothing, so I was taking my time, and I had a lot of work, now I am a free bird, and can do other things.
I am not sure if you watched the first part of these cool animated series, but you probably should. It’s on Netflix, and you can read my review here:
Jack, he is the first character you meet in the story and well, you want to smack him over the head, for real, he got on my nerves for many chapters, in fact, I think I didn’t like him that much until book 2 (Triad), and by Pantheon (the third book) as I mentioned, then I said, alright Jack, you’re good.
Hello, dearies! This is Sela here, and I’m giving in, I’m dedicating one to Jack from The Idhun Chronicles because when I re-read Pantheon (the third book), I realized that he had his moments.
And I have been asked about Victoria and Kirtash, and Jack, though I am not going to answer that spoiler-full question, but I am going to talk about Jack and some important facts from the books, so you might as well stop right now if you don’t want to know like this is my warning that there are spoilers ahead. 👀
I’m doing this one on Pantheon because it felt in some parts like I was reading it for the first time.
And I completely blocked out 2 facts in this book, or so it seems. It was so real to me that A died, at first I was perplexed that that fact had been out of my mind for so long.
So, let’s do this once more, and I apologise beforehand because I know these books are in Spanish, and some of you might not be able to read them yet, still, I wanted to share.
Kirtash: Coming to you from Idhún Memories (or now The Idhun Chronicles), a Spanish trilogy about another world where you live under three suns and moons ruled by several Gods.
Wow! This one is going to be interesting.
Book:The Idhun Chronicles Trilogy
Other names:Chris-tara, Christian
Talents: Magical voice, charming (in his own way), shape-shifting. Freaking awesome.
Idhún’s story takes us through several phases of unknown paths, weird crannies and more, discovering the world around the books can be so exciting, mainly these unknown parts are on the side of Jack who shows us what we don’t know through his eyes.
The Idhún’s Memories (The Idhun Chronicles)
Books in this Trilogy: La Resistencia, Triada, Panteón
Author: Laura Gallego García
Genre: Fantasy, drama, teen, YA, paranormal, awesome
Greatest Spanish book ever!!! Did you notice the 3 exclamations points? Exactly, it is that good.
My favourite book or one of my favourites in the fantasy department. It tops up with Harry Potter, The Dark Artifices, and Drakon Series, not in what happens but in what they make you think and feel, in the sense of reading a great book.
I was going to describe some of the creatures in the books, but it may take some of the excitement out of reading it; when I first read it, I didn’t know a thing about it, only that it was fantasy and that was one of the best things and worst thing that could have happened to me.
