14 Book Characters to Fall For Time after Time

Who is your favourite book character? Check out some of mine

Happy Valentine’s Day, dearies!

I’ll add a couple of female leads this time because I feel like I have more to name now then other years when I did similar lists.

So, we have a variety in 2026. And I’ll start with the girls from Shadowhunters because they are my favourite characters by far.

Emma Carstairs

The Dark Artifices. Even at 12 years old she was already badass, and then came TDA trilogy and I was hooked for good.

lightwood

Izzy Lightwood

The Mortal Instruments. Well, from the start Izzy was my favourite and as the story progressed she only grew in my eyes.

Tessa Gray

The Infernal Devices. Tessa is badass when she wants to. And not just because she is the get two guys for one girl, she has power (abilities) and knows how to use it. 😄

Alice Cullen

Twilight. Do I need to say more? Alice is probably one of the best characters in the whole Twilight Saga, no comparison needed.

scarlet wolf

Scarlet

The Lunar Chronicles. Scarlet from TLC because she is cool 😎  and I like the book.

Rue

The Smoke Thief.

I decided to create my own book fanart for Rue. This is from one of the first scenes of the book before we learnt more about her, but soon after wow, she is strong, charismatic, and witty. I like that in a lead. 🙂

Emma Carstairs

Who is Emma Carstairs? I hope this answers your question… she is awesome and she is a Shadowhunter.

And I thought that Izzy Lightwood was a badass, Emma took the prize and made me rethink it all.

When I first read Lady Midnight, I was not expecting to find such a wonderfully created character as Emma.

Before that, when I read City of Heavenly Fire, I don’t think I paid much attention, Emma was there and she was cool but I was focused on the Blackthorns. But then came the trilogy that changed all of that. I still love the Blackthorns, don’t get me wrong but Emma Carstairs is just a big part of it as well…

Queen of Air and Darkness

Author: Cassandra Clare

The Dark Artifices #3

Genre: YA, Supernatural, Fantasy, Romance, Drama, Crying, Throwing the book across the room

This is not going to be easy, and I do not think it is going to be really short.

Last night I finished Queen of Air and Darkness (QOAAD from now on), if I had read it in December when it came out it would have been the Best Read of 2018, alas, it was not, it is the Best Read of 2019 so far, and unless The Red Scrolls of Magic is something incredibly amazing and even more epic, it will stay the best book, because Cassie Clare did it again, she went a step forward, she makes you want to be inside the book, inside the Shadow World, be part of a family, be part of a world that you only know through words on paper, it was awesome.

Lord of Shadows Review

I will first give you, the unedited review, this is what I felt and thought when I first finished the book. Be wary, it contains so many spoilers you will have to jump to the end of it, where I said it is good and nothing else, if you do not want to know what happens at the end of the book. You have been warned.

Lady Midnight

Do I need to say is by Cassandra Clare? You probably already know that, but there I said it. Now, I might have to warn you that this review: could contain some minor spoilers, that I might talk a lot about Julian Blackthorn, and that I freaking loved it! Even more so than the other 10, I was as surprised as anyone else, because I love TMI and Clockwork Princess became one of my favorite books, but Lady Midnight was just too F**king Awesome!

And I know you will enter my chaotic thought process… thank you for being here. What you are about to read has some minor spoilers and it was written during and shortly after I read LM.
