Where She Went

Author: Gayle Forman

And a little something about: If I Stay

Alright, everyone ready for this?

What.
The.
Heck?

I mean seriously, I spent like 5 or 10 minutes after I was done with the book looking through wiki and Gayle’s official website for another piece of Adam and Mia, and you know what I found? You know it, Nothing!

Take Me Tomorrow

Author: Shannon Thompson

“Tomorrow can take me.” Truest words spoken and we knew it was going to be good.

Take Me Tomorrow a truly different twist in the dystopian genre.

Let it be known, I am not encouraging drug use because we all know that’s bad for your health, but wouldn’t we want to take a pill that would show you the future? Or at the very least, a glimpse of it?

City of Heavenly Fire

The Mortal Instruments #6

Author: Cassandra Clare

Apparently, I didn’t write a post about the most amazing, awesome book in The Mortal Instruments Series.

Whoa, anyone would think I didn’t LOVE this book. Now you know, I did. It was great, I remember I would stay up late reading, I would wake up and read… think about it when I wasn’t reading it. Wish for Magnus to be on every freaking page but he wasn’t and that’s alright, Jace was or Izzy or Alec… I’m not a big fan of some but hey that doesn’t really matter, the best ones are still there.

Opposition

Lux #5

Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Genre: Freaking Grand

It ended. Oh My…

No more Daemon Black… yes, that was basically my only thought in a loop. But like everything, life goes on if not ask Katy. I must say she redeemed herself to me on this last book. She pulled together.

Jennifer Armentrout, you are a genius. I don’t know what it was in this book (maybe an unknown visual hypnosis) but I was hooked no matter where I looked. All I have to say to this author is: Thank You.

I’m going to assume you have read the book if not, what are you waiting for? Although if you haven’t read ANY of the Lux Novels then by all the baby aliens everywhere please start, it would be worth your time.

Fallen

Author: Lauren Kate

 Genre: Young-Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Paranormal.

Fallen… Fallen…. I have only read the first book and even when the first chapters were unable to capture me and hold me hostage. I knew there was something good in that book, I could feel it so I kept on reading, despite all odds by the time I got to Daniel being DANIEL, I simply said: there it is! I knew it was worth it.

The Mortal Instruments

By Cassandra Clare

Where to begin? Once upon a time, oh wait! That’s not it.

The Mortal Instruments, these books were first recommend by a friend a long long time ago, I didn’t listen to his recommendations not in the slightest, he even sent me the books (Yes Ebook reader here, in case you didn’t know), I was like “Yes, I’ll read them” and then I would add a muttered: Someday.

I was so mistaken then, The Mortal Instruments are great, please do not let the movie trick you, they gave it a good try with that and we fans hope they do better with the TV Series, the movie has three great things: Jamie Campbell Bower, Jonathan Rhys Meyer, Aidan Turner. Oh! Make that 4 things with Lena Headey. So yes, it could have been awesome if they had known who would be watching the movie. Done with that. The rest of the actors were alright too but the books are so much better, really done now. The so-called review starts now.

The Vampire Diaries Series

by L.J. Smith

How a true “teenage” vampire should act…

A read these books I think a year or so after the Twilight Saga, I cannot recall actually, it was after Twilight, I know that much and boy! Did it open my eyes, of course so it had Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice but that book is a different type of history and drama in a more adult and sometimes creepier way.

Now, this story about vampires is really something else, after the first two books you really begin to wonder if you will finish the whole thing, it happened to me but there was just something about it that kept me there, I continued reading and reading and then I was in the final books and could not believe how it started and where it had led, pretty interesting way of making the reader be immerse into the story. Alright, let’s begin.

Idhun’s Memories

Idhún’s story takes us through several phases of unknown paths, weird crannies and more, discovering the world around the books can be so exciting, mainly these unknown parts are on the side of Jack who shows us what we don’t know through his eyes.

The Idhún’s Memories (The Idhun Chronicles)

Books in this Trilogy: La Resistencia, Triada, Panteón

Author: Laura Gallego García

Genre: Fantasy, drama, teen, YA, paranormal, awesome

Greatest Spanish book ever!!! Did you notice the 3 exclamations points? Exactly, it is that good.

My favourite book or one of my favourites in the fantasy department. It tops up with Harry Potter, The Dark Artifices, and Drakon Series, not in what happens but in what they make you think and feel, in the sense of reading a great book.

I was going to describe some of the creatures in the books, but it may take some of the excitement out of reading it; when I first read it, I didn’t know a thing about it, only that it was fantasy and that was one of the best things and worst thing that could have happened to me.

The 5th Wave Thoughts

So about The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, haven’t finish it yet. 62% and now is getting exciting although I’m still waiting to get surprised I don’t know if it is that I was measuring all the possibilities while Cassie (main character) was talking/thinking delusional thoughts throughout the whole book or if I am just deductive or maybe Rick wrote it in that way so WE, the readers, would know but Cassie wouldn’t. I had one surprise many chapters ago but the rest I was: Yes, exactly. What else could it have been?

I am not saying the book is bad; it’s great actually, I was just pointing those parts out. The worst as usual (lately) is that I have to wait until September 16th 2014, supposedly, to read the 2nd part (*sigh*).

Lux Novels

Lux Series

By Jennifer Armentrout

Being done with Obsidian and Onyx, thought I would stop by and say: Oh My Lord! Even when I find Katy a tiny bit annoying, Daemon on the other hand can be very annoying for her, I find him Hilarious, he may be egocentric and proud and full of himself but I like the character, what can I say? Bad guys are hot and I think I relate to him in some levels.
