50 Shades Darker

โ€œI wasn’t aware we were fighting. I thought we were communicating,โ€

Author: E.L. James

Series: Fifty Shades Trilogy

Genres: Erotic (sure), Romance (eh…), Drama (so much), BDSM (only accurate one)

Honest, different view after years and reading other books.

Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿš

I had to look up to know if the trilogy’s name was actually 50 Shades or not. Lol. The Fifty Shades Trilogy it seems, and then the Fifty Shades Series, but I didn’t read Christian’s POV books because it really was not something I was interested in, this, of course, after reading all three books in the original trilogy.

A Game of Thrones: Flashback

Author: George R.R. Martin

Genre: Fantasy, Fiction, Epic Fantasy, Adult, High Fantasy, Science Fiction Fantasy, and more.

Series: A Song of Ice and Fire #1

Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿ‘‘

I realized that I don’t have a proper post for A Song of Ice and Fire Book 1, aka, A Game of Thrones.

Of course, I have my very special A Song of Ice and Fire page and a book review for A Dance with Dragons. But the other books I read all in one go and so fast, and so, not putting down this book type of way that well, it all kind of blended together, and then I watched Game of Thrones, so that didn’t help matters. It all just cooled down.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: TBT

‘It was much pleasanter at home,’ thought poor Alice, ‘when one wasn’t always growing larger and smaller, and being ordered about by mice and rabbits. I almost wish I hadn’t gone down that rabbit-hole โ€” and yet โ€” and yet โ€” it’s rather curious, you know, this sort of life! I do wonder what can have happened to me! When I used to read fairy-tales, I fancied that kind of thing never happened, and now here I am in the middle of one! There ought to be a book written about me, that there ought! And when I grow up, I’ll write one.’

Author: Lewis Carroll

Genre: Nonsense Literature, Fantasy, Adventure

When did I read it? Ages ago.

Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿซ–

When I was little, I loved watching the Disney movie of Alice in Wonderland. Just a fun fact for you.

I didnโ€™t read the book until my teenage days and found it as nuts as you can imagine.

It’s not bad. It’s just a lot of things happening.

10 Years

“Donโ€™t settle for what life gives you; make life better and build something.”

Wait what? It’s been 10 years since I decided to start blogging and rambling about books online?

It seems that’s the case.

10 Years ago, I chose a name and decided to put my thoughts out there in the world, and you know what happened? Nothing, I continued to do it just because it’s fun, and I love sharing books.

Stranger Things Season 4 – Part 2: Wow Wow

How could all of it go sideways so terribly?

By the time I finished watching this one, I was too shocked to even write about it, so I let it sit in my mind…

Crass mistake, now I can hardly remember what was that happened except for the end of season 4 of Stranger Things. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿซ

Hello, dearies!

Welcome to a Flashback Friday or Friday Flashback, whichever you prefer. Here we are with Stranger Things once more.

Fathers in Books

Happy Father’s Day!

Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿผ

I didn’t do a Mom’s in Books because I was a bit off that month. But here is a Father’s Day special because why not…

What’s the first book you recall reading and seeing a super dad in it?

I can’t remember, but James Potter comes to mind, as well as father figures like Sirius Black, and a father that couldnโ€™t be one, Remus Lupin, man that took a turn into sad.

Lock Every Door

Not what you would expect. Or what you wanted. ๐Ÿซ

When you have a title that it’s Lock Every Door, you would think that there’s more suspense or paranormal. So, be warned โš ๏ธ it might not be what you thought and not in the ooh-such-a-good plot twist.

Friday Flashback: Charmed

‘Just because I protect the innocent doesn’t mean I have to be innocent all of the time.’ Phoebe Halliwell

I should have known this would be coming. But I didn’t.

Hello, dearies! This is Sela! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I haven’t started a post like that in… hold on, I don’t think I ever started one of my posts like that, but here we are. That is in case you didn’t know my name already.

Anyway, welcome to a new Friday Flashback, featuring one of my favourite TV shows of all time: Charmed.

The story of three sister witches, and then three half-sisters witches who fight evil because that’s apparently their destiny, but all they want is a normal life since that’s something that most witches and other supernatural have in common, while we the mortals, want nothing but the unconventional and magical life. ๐Ÿช„

The Lost Book of the White

5 bright glowing โญ

Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿงญ

Prepare for some fangirling of epic proportions.

And maybe a bit of rambling too.

The Lost Book of The White takes us forward in time or further (way further) than The Red Scrolls of Magic, which I recommend you first read City of Bones before diving into that one, although it is not necessary.

So, I loved book 2 of The Eldest Curses, does that come across? Sometimes I don’t know if it really does. But I did, and it took me a while to write this one because… life, so my memories are a bit far away.
