Manga Characters Guaranteed to Deliver a Heartthrob

Hello, dearies!

With Valentine’s day coming closer, I decided to do a special on characters, but not any male characters but the ones from Manga because they made your heartthrob the most. At least in this particular case, with these specific characters. 💓

Now, I say it’s from any genre, but the common denominator is some kind of romance.

As of the next lines, pardon my fangirling all over the place. Let’s begin!

Manga Characters Guaranteed to Give us a Heartthrob 💓

Naruse Shou

The fact that he is first on the list is completely and utterly intentional. The first name that pops into my head is Naruse from Namaikizakari, the name that I focused and focused on learning and engraving into my mind.

I don’t remember how I got to this manga, but after reading the first chapters of Namaikizakari (Cheeky Brat), seeing how funny, witty, and cheeky Naruse Shou is, I was so hooked, and of course, he has the best moment to make your heart go crazy.

From now on, the order is random.

Takano Masamune

Takano from Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, he gives me life, so upfront and to the point, he wants Onodera and gives a s*** about what anyone thinks. I love this manga.

Kusama Nowaki

Or just Nowaki to Hiroki and to us, they’re from Junjou Romantica, another of my favourites. Nowaki is young, strong, and so warm, you just want to pick him up and hug him.

Yukina Kou

Yukina from Junjou Romantica too. This is almost an honourable mention if it weren’t for those special moments with Kisa where these two manage to make you smile, say aww, and sometimes even get a flush because it’s hot.

Usui Takumi

I don’t have a review for Kaichou Wa Maid-sama on the blog, but I should because it is a favourite to re-watch. I only read the manga once, but it doesn’t matter because Takumi is still a heartthrob expert, you need only watch the anime or read the manga, and you will be completely in his clutches.

Li Syaoran

CardCaptor Sakura is probably one of the most well-known manga and anime on this list, and so surely you know that Syaoran is the one that started us all down this road (*cough* Terry from Candy Candy and Gohan from DB for me), when I watched Sakura for the first time in my teenage days I was obsessed, I couldn’t miss an episode on TV, and almost all the male characters on this were a heartthrob pro.

Many moons later, I read the manga and was impressed, so now I am reading Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card, and the smiles and awws continue.

Miyamura Izumi

This one is new for me because I hadn’t read or watched Horimiya before or even heard of it, but I binge-watched the anime and then went straight into reading the manga. I have not finished it, but Miyamura is just too much for my poor heart. He’s too sweet.

Terashima Nobou

And then we have Nobou or simply Nobu from NANA, the one who makes me cry and also gives me heartthrobs from being so in love to being completely destroyed, it’s too much. But I watched the anime more than once and read the manga but once because that was enough to make me sad.

In this manga, NANA, we also have Ren and Shinichi, but I chose Nobu because I think of Nana, and immediately his name is first on my memories.

So, that completes this list, though there are some extras.

Honourable mentions, Levi (Shingeki no Kyojin). Teppei Kyoshi (Kuroko no Basuke). Kugayama Shūsei (L♥DK). Son Gohan. Mabuchi Kou. Akihiko Usami. #17. Yue.

Alright, I could be mentioning characters from manga or anime all day, but these are mainly those that you first think about when asked about a crush, a heartthrob or a happy sigh. 😊
