Canterbury Jane Austen Challenge

‘…have you heard that Netherfield Park is let at last?’

Hello, dearies! 🧵

Did you know that there is a Jane Austen Challenge going on by canterburyclassics? (This is not promoted).

There is! And I decided to go into it, starting with Jane Austen in January, true be told I didn’t finish it in Jan, but I’ll plan on continuing until the end throughout February since the challenge is month by month through 2025, and I am not really planning on doing needlework, this time. 😆

As Ms. Austen is to turn 250 this year! That’s how they decided that this should be the perfect way to celebrate.

These are the expected month-by-month challenges:

books 2025

You can still join, of course. What do you think? If I find other book challenges like so, I’ll definitely consider them, it looked like so much, and perhaps I’ll finally read all of Jane Austen’s books, because Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey sit on my shelf since forever. 😸

That’s the latest from my end. I’ll update on my new view of Pride and Prejudice once I’m done. 😊

Roller-coaster

What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

I like amusing parks, I have gone on Rollercoasters rides in the past, but then I grew up and the part of me that didn’t know how to say no before, started to and then I said I didn’t want to, and here we are.

It is not a fear perse to go on a gigantic Roller-coaster and more the fact that I don’t feel like it. 🎢

What would it take me to do it? Why does it have to be like that?

Well, around a million dollars should do the trick, I would stand in line patiently and nerve-wrackingly hear it going around and then jump on it. 😄

Cash or transfers are acceptable. 🤭

Only 2 Episodes to go of EachPage Flow Season 2

“Being alone and being lonely are two different things.”

Hello, everyone! 🎧

Have you been keeping up with the k… the podcast, sorry, bad joke.

Have you been listening and following the podcast? Season 2 is almost done, only 2 episodes to go, and of course I left two of my favourite of the last couple of years for last, and they were both stories that I had not known about until they crossed my path.

But Episode 16, dedicated to NANA is now available, and you can listen to it on YouTube and also watch a few cool scenes from the anime.

What was on my screen in 2024? What did I watch?

Anime. Movies. TV Shows. Re-watching. Animated Shows. There is always something on for me.

Hello, dearies! 🍿

Last year is not far away 🤭 but it seems like the year was quite extensive when I look back on what I watched.

Some of my favourites are here, and some not so favourite.

It is quite a list so I’ll name them next.

What did I read in 2024? It was a surprise!

“All I can do is try to ease your pain and replace the terrible memories with better ones.”

Welcome, dearies! 🐉🐍

The year is almost at an end, it might for some of you already, depending on where you are in the world. For me it is still Dec, 31st.

I was checking all the book reviews on the blog and was surprised by what I had picked up this year, mostly, “old” books but that were in my TBR since forever and I decided to read as many as I could.

Luckily, there was a dragon book in there, so the year of the Dragon was represented in my reading. For the year of the Snake (my year!) I shall see what books are out there that fit the criteria, there should be some interesting ones.

Alright, alright. I’ll begin.

Creativity like in life?

How are you creative?

This prompt is a bit broad.

I have various passions so it’s not a short answer of one thing like: writer, which I am.

I am creative by reading and imagining. Drawing at times. Designing my books covers. Creating digital content for the blog here, for social media, whether it is posts or reels. Or recordings for the podcast or vLogs about travelling and books.

I love taking photos, too, not professionally but creatively. 😆❤️

Writing is perhaps the biggest part of that creativity, I have been writing for over twenty years, wow. That’s a lot looking back on it. Writing books, short stories, blog posts, and reviews, I haven’t tried scriptwriting, but I have thought about how it would be.

So that’s how I’m creative in life. 🤭💗

And this is me promoting my craft: My Books. (A new book will be released on Dec, 31st and you can pre-order it).

So Far: This is the truth of Harry Potter’s Upcoming Max TV Series

“Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself.”

Alright, I give. 🥹

This is what is happening with the upcoming Harry Potter TV Show on Max.

Fine, I’ll talk about it if it is happening and Summer of 2025 will mark the start of the production.

I’m just saying all of this because I have seen a lot of fakes news, videos, and text around that it is simply outrageous. So, all the information here comes from the official website harrypotter.com. 📚

Spoiler Time Sunday: That one Question about Kaichou Wa Maid Sama

“You were the one who selfishly entered my world yet you immediately plunged into silence. What were you thinking?”
– Misaki Ayuzawa

Hello, dearies! ☕🥤

Welcome to the blog! This Sunday I will dedicate some time to this cool Manga and Anime.

But the spoilers come from the Manga, is it possible to have spoilers? Yes!

There are some spoilers if you haven’t read the Manga and only watched the Anime, which is pretty cool.

I loved them both.

9 Christmas Books to add to Our TBR

What is Christmas without some mystery or some rom-com? Movies or books, we rewatch or read something new.

Christmas is almost here! 🎄

Happy December, dearies!⛄️

I have already been posting this month, but since Christmas 2024 is almost upon us, then I thought to share some books I saw online that are holiday-related.

Not all of these may say Christmas or December or other things like it, but they are related to this holiday time.
