I finished this one a second time (maybe third), and I can still recommend it, I loved it again.

I’m doing this one on Pantheon because it felt in some parts like I was reading it for the first time.

And I completely blocked out 2 facts in this book, or so it seems. It was so real to me that A died, at first I was perplexed that that fact had been out of my mind for so long.

So, let’s do this once more, and I apologise beforehand because I know these books are in Spanish, and some of you might not be able to read them yet, still, I wanted to share.

Hello, dearies! As you might know from previous lists and posts, I don’t usually do this kind of post, but I thought that for Halloween I should try, though I don’t know how it will since when asked questions like these ones, I usually go blank and forget all the books I have ever read, lol, I know.

I’ll give it my best, so here we go. This tag was a tag from Riddhi at Whispering Stories, but the original was first seen on a video. That’s enough rambling, starting for real now.

Continuing our journey through the magical world of Harry Potter, now, one of my favs, The Chamber of Secrets, not my all-time favourite but pretty close. For part one of this, you can read my ramblings on HP and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The Chamber of Secrets is one of the books I appreciate being a second good book, not many manage that, sometimes the second statements are either boring or slow or plain crazy, and other times like with Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles 2) or The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings), you, just get a winner or Where She Went, none of these books has absolutely anything to do with each other, but they are all seconds and good ones, The Subtle Knife too from His Dark Materials. To the point, I know.

Stars Above – 1.5 and 3.1

This one will be short and sweet, just wanted to showcase these 2 stories in the Stars Above compilation.

This may contain spoilers for those who had not read any of The Lunar Chronicles books. Beware.

The Queen’s Army (The Lunar Chronicles #1.5)

While I love these books, there is also something very savage about the Lunar stories. Worst of them all is seeing what children in Luna go through, like with this one and what Ze’ev had to face.

The Lunar Chronicles 4: Winter ❄️

It doesn’t usually happen that I find a book to have me gaping, almost screaming, nearly crying, laughing, insulting the characters, but the best ones do, or at least does that make you go in and be part of the story for real, feel all that they are feeling, intense, magical, heartwarming, all those little things we feel while reading Winter.

I think this is going to take a little while to come together.

After all the scary moments, all the times I said, this is it, this is where she kills them, her, him, one of them is going to be left alone and wandering without love, then another of my fav would come into the scene and there I was again thinking the same, what a rollercoaster.

The Lunar Chronicles 3: Cress

It doesn’t usually happen, but Marissa sometimes manages to shock me and made me scream and curse at the pages of books, and I had some of those moments with Cress. And the last page took me by surprise, I was so engrossed in it, that I turned and when I saw the Acknowledgements page my jaw fell. I knew I would finish this book way too quickly

Ghosts of the Shadow Market: The Wicked Ones

It took me a while to read this one, but I did so enjoyed it and in the end, it led to what we already knew. But while reading The Wicked Ones, I was actually trying to remember about what little information I had on Céline Montclaire.

It took me a while to read this one, but I did so enjoyed it and in the end, it led to what we already knew. But while reading The Wicked Ones, I was actually trying to remember about what little information I had on Céline Montclaire and as such I will now share my in-the-moment thoughts.

If you haven’t read this short story or don’t know about The Mortal Instruments story, I suggest you don’t continue because there are some spoilers here.

It was not easy to stop and jot down some thoughts while reading this one, especially because it was my first time reading on my phone, on Amazon Kindle, but I made it work, and the note thing on Kindle made it much easier. I decided now, to go book by book, quickly and point out once more that they’re great, though it might surprise us Potterheads that there are still people out there who have not read HP ever in their lives, so this is for you too.
