Spoiler Time Sunday: The Thing About Furuba is

The thing about Furuba is that you still watch/read it despite all these plots twists and pains…

Hi, dearies!

Welcome back to a Spoiler Time Sunday, which already has multiple entries, in case you want to spoil your fun or just know more about a favourite book, anime, show.

This Sunday will be for Furuba or Fruits Basket, which became a favourite of mine after watching about three episodes of the 2019 Anime Version of the manga, I was hooked, I was sold after the first episode even. The intro, I was there, in it.

Now, you see I am a fan of it, I like it. But I am a realistic person, and I know that if you look to close into things (shows, stories, character’s background) then you really get like: wow, seriously? Is that truly how it is?

So, today, I am doing that with Furuba because I enjoy rambling about these random things.

First off, this is my warning, there are spoilers as per the whole point of this blog post, spoilers ahead, this is my warning.

Spoiler Time Sunday: Sunrise on the Reaping

‘It’s like they’ve tried to bring the whole outdoors indoors. Why? Is opening a door and walking through it too much trouble? Fools and their money are soon parted, Ma would say.’

Hello, tributes! 🥲

Or do you prefer, hello, dearies!

Yes, that sounds better. 😆

It is a month since the release of Sunrise on the Reaping (The Hunger Games Book 0.5), and you know? It is time for some spoilers because I have seen some questions online that truly call for me to answer them, because come on!

On the one side, do you really want to know that? And on the other hand? I hope that these questions are being asked by someone who didn’t read the book because it is pretty straightforward.

Or at least, if you like The Hunger Games, if you know about Haymitch, and if you paid attention you can have your own interpretation of the book, as I did.

So, it is Sunday and it is time for some spoilers.

(Also I’m not going to give away all the main bits of the book), but some major facts.

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, the anime and manga that you soon discover is very cool and want to know more about.

Welcome, dearies! 🧁

A new Sunday, a new Spoiler.

Why Horimiya? Because I was looking for a photo and saw these questions that made me snort and answer in my head, and so here we are… was that convincing? Lol. It’s partly true, the other half of that is that I like talking about stuff that I like a lot and have watched a bunch of times, sue me! 😅

Anyways… I hope you are here because you want some spoilers about Kyouko and Izumi because I am going all in without a filter. 🤭

Spoiler Time Sunday: That one Question about Kaichou Wa Maid Sama

“You were the one who selfishly entered my world yet you immediately plunged into silence. What were you thinking?”
– Misaki Ayuzawa

Hello, dearies! ☕🥤

Welcome to the blog! This Sunday I will dedicate some time to this cool Manga and Anime.

But the spoilers come from the Manga, is it possible to have spoilers? Yes!

There are some spoilers if you haven’t read the Manga and only watched the Anime, which is pretty cool.

I loved them both.

Spoiler Time Sunday: Victoria’s Twilight

Who is Victoria in the Twilight Series? That can’t be a real question, but sometimes it is… so today, I’ll answer it.

Welcome, dearies! 👩‍🦰

This will also act as a Book Character special since the spoiler focus on Victoria from the Twilight Series, the red-haired vampire, who Rachelle Lefevre brought to live so perfectly. #sorrynotsorry but Bryce Dallas Howard couldn’t compete with the character as Rachelle had it.

Spoiler Time Sunday: Pride and Prejudice’s Lydia

Pride and Prejudice is a superb comedy of manners of Regency England, according to many readers. But did you know how Lydia really was in the book? Here’s how!

This will be a quick Spoiler Time Sunday.

Book/Movie: Pride and Prejudice

Author: Jane Austen

Book Character: Lydia Bennet (Youngest sister)

I was recently watching Pride and Prejudice (movie 2005) again for the thousandth time. And realised how little they explain how Lydia is, there’s a bit more to what she does and how she is. So here I am.

Did you know that in the book Mr Bennet actually asks Lizzie who did Lydia drive away (which suitor) by being all flirty.

Spoiler Time Sunday: NANA (Anime)

NANA (Anime) is a friendship/love story that suddenly turns traumatic and unbelievable. The more you watch this anime, the more invested you become in it! It’s now available on Netflix, but you can also watch it on Crunchyroll.

Oh wow… I’m not even remotely ready to talk about this one.

Anime: NANA

Genres: Romance. Josei. Drama. Music. So much drama.

Director: Morio Asaka

Originally a Manga by Ai Yazawa-sensei

You can watch it on Netflix or Crunchyroll.

I’ll try to keep it short, and to the point.

NANA description:

Nana “Hachi” Komatsu hopes that moving to Tokyo will help her make a clean start and leave her capricious love life behind her. Nana Osaki, who arrives in the city at the same time, has plans to score big in the world of rock’n’roll. Although these two young women come from different backgrounds, they quickly become best friends in a whirlwind world of sex, music, fashion, gossip and all-night parties! Anxious to get into a Tokyo groove, both women are on the prowl for a funky and cheap place to live. But inexpensive apartments in Japan’s capital city are hard to find. Thank goodness each Nana has a clique of cool friends willing to help out. Too bad these friends are a little wiggy!
