Let’s talk Fruits Basket! If you haven’t heard of this anime or manga before, I recommend it. Also known as フルーツバスケット, Furūtsu Basuketto. You can watch it on Crunchyroll and FunimationNow.

Before starting on this one, I’d like to clarify that this is about the anime of 2019 (essentially a reboot). I haven’t watched the original anime (I didn’t know there was one) from 2001, though that one has fewer episodes, and I think they changed the story from the Manga.

I recently watched Love Again with Sam Heugham 💕 oh, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Celine Dion.

I wasn’t going to mention it here, but sometimes you have to, because to be honest it wasn’t like the greatest love story ever, and half the time the story of her got a little on my nerves, though not as much as clearly seeing where the story was going and how it’ll end, maybe it was my Rom-Com filled brain 🤣 but truly, I knew even before they did that she would end up texting him. 📱

Fall is almost here!

Yes, it’s my favourite season! How did you guys know? 🤣

Anyway, September is here, and perhaps it’ll be a great one for reading, even when I am still reading Dune because, my goodness what a long book. But I’m halfway through it so if that’s done soon, I’ll be able to move on to some romances that are waiting for me. Or a few fantasy books that I have on my TBR since forever, honestly, the list is long, and I cannot decide on one right now.

Quick answer on this one. I am reading Dune and this word: peremptory. It came up and at first I kept reading for a few seconds then came back to it like, what is that? Did I understand the sentence?

So, yes, I had to look for it online. And it means:

adjective: peremptory
insisting on immediate attention or obedience, especially in a brusquely imperious way.

Similar: brusque, imperious, high-handed, brisk

Or in LAW
not open to appeal or challenge; final.

Similar: incontrovertible, irreversible.
