What’s up, December?

Wow! First Day of the Last Month of this 2021.

Happy December, dearies! I trust this one started full of reading and happy thoughts for everyone.

Since it’s already here, then we might as well make the best of it, right? No point in crying over spill potion. As 2022 comes closer and closer, it has become increasingly and shockingly obvious that all the books I was supposed to read this time around did not happen. I had a few difficult months and still going through it all, but have decided to keep going. πŸ’ͺ

Alice Cullen

β€œNo one dressed by me ever looks like an idiot.”

First Appearance: Twilight

Last Appearance: Breaking Dawn

Alice is portrayed by Ashley Greene

Hello, dearies!πŸ§›

I thought to stop by with a quick appreciation for a character that pretty much makes the whole Twilight series better. Alice Cullen, yes! That’s about all I need to say. LOL. Not really, I’m just going to fangirl for a little a bit and then we can move on.

Spoiler Alert, if you are not familiar with Twilight or the other books in the saga.

OneWord Book Challenge

Hello, dearies!

How’s the week so far? Halloween is around the corner, and I decided to come in with a little challenge that I found on Instagram, another, yes.

This time around is for the OneWord, the challenge is supposed to be a stack of books with One Word titles, but I am doing it here, and what do you know? I have a list of book titles that are one word and from one series, cool? I think so, but I’ll include other titles too, even if I love this particular series.

Here we go. πŸ“š

2011 Reads

Hey there, dearies! 😎

Last time I did this was for 2009, and that brought memories, this time will be different since I don’t recall what I was reading in 2011 but I can take a guess. Why don’t I recall? Because I was probably still reading other books from previous years or doing some re-reading, or probably reading something from the 1800’s.

But there were some books that came out in 2011 and we might feel a little old while remembering what they were because it’s been 10 years since that time. Yes, this is 2021 so 10 years! I know!

Let’s get this party started, I’ll also tell you, which ones I did read.

The Idhun Chronicles Part 2

The Idhun Chronicles, the story we wished for years to become a realisation. Adaptation from Spanish trilogy Memorias de IdhΓΊn by Laura Gallego.

Where? Netflix.

Based on a Book? Yes.

For the review of the books, you can go here: Idhun’s Memories. πŸ“™

Hello, dearies! It’s August of 2021, as in we are past the mid-year mark, as we are almost looking at Autumn in the eye, and I finally watched the second part of The Idhun Chronicles, I know it took me some time, but I already knew what it was about and where it was headed knowing the end of the book and all, and knowing that there are no more seasons or parts or nothing, so I was taking my time, and I had a lot of work, now I am a free bird, and can do other things.

I am not sure if you watched the first part of these cool animated series, but you probably should. It’s on Netflix, and you can read my review here:

Fiction – Graphic novels & comics I didn’t know

I was taking a quick look on Smashwords today and saw this section on Graphic novels, though I think it should be more like Fiction with a touch of graphic? Well, at least the ones that I saw didn’t have much comic on them.

Hello, dearies! ✨

Happy 4th of July ✨ to those who celebrate it. I was taking a quick look on Smashwords today and saw this section on Graphic novels, though I think it should be more like Fiction with a touch of graphic? Well, at least the ones that I saw didn’t have much comic on them.

So, I saw these and thought you might like to check them out too, I haven’t read them or anything, I just read the titles and thought that they could be included in the TBR, so don’t take my word for it. πŸ˜‚πŸ“š

Here we go.

If you read The Duke and I then you should read… πŸ‘€ πŸ“š

If you read the Duke and I then you should probably/would probably read these romance books.

Hello, dearies!

I know, it has been some time since I published a new one, and this one not even a review? The horror!

I have been working in my mundane job, and my reading has been the lowest in months. I am supposed to be reading The Brightest Night (which I have loved so far) but I stopped before half of it was over because I want a clearer mind to pay attention to it, so you might say that I am in a reading slump. Nothing to do with my last read, I love the Origin and Lux world.
