Didn’t Finish, Did Finish Book Challenge

“She was spirit and presence, as rare and brilliant as snowflakes in sunlight, and he could not bring himself to harm her.”
The Smoke Thief

Hello, dearies! I hope your day/night is going well.

This book challenge was originally, did not finish do not care, but as that is a little too much for me, on the negative side. I decided to give it my own spin and share three books that I didn’t finish and did finish, and why.

Enjoy! 📲

Didn’t Finish, Did Finish Book Challenge

The Last Book You Couldn’t Finish Reading

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.

I couldn’t finish it. I tried but moved on to other books. I do want to finish it one day though, because I don’t like books midway or more like at 20%, and I cannot give a review if I don’t read the whole thing.

A Book you Finished but Wish You Hadn’t Finish

The Smoke Thief by Shana Abe

This is the one that was a bit negative for me, so I went in a different direction than what I believe was the original intent. I decided to choose a book I finished but wished it hadn’t ended or that I hadn’t finished it because I wanted more of it, and not because I didn’t enjoy it.

This is one of my favourite books and authors, and I can recommend or re-read it anytime.

A Book you Left Unfinished but Finished Reading later

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

I started Cinder one time and then didn’t continue. I don’t remember why, but then I said, I want to know what this book is about, so I picked it up again, and I couldn’t put it down and it became a favourite.

I love Cinder, it started me down the wonderful path of The Lunar Chronicles.

So, that’s it for now, dearies. The book challenges of this time are over, if I find another cool one, I will, of course, let you know, and you can check pictures for these challenges on my Instagram, where you can also follow me if you are not yet, it would be cool.

Thank you for sticking to the end and for supporting the blog, and don’t forget to visit my buymeacoffee as well, where I post about writing and life.

Happy Reading! 🍄
