What’s up, December?

december book reading list

Wow! First Day of the Last Month of this 2021.

Happy December, dearies! I trust this one started full of reading and happy thoughts for everyone.

Since it’s already here, then we might as well make the best of it, right? No point in crying over spill potion. As 2022 comes closer and closer, it has become increasingly and shockingly obvious that all the books I was supposed to read this time around did not happen. I had a few difficult months and still going through it all, but have decided to keep going. πŸ’ͺ

Now, as December is here, and my list has not decreased but increased as per the custom each year. Then I am trying to keep it two a few paperbacks and hardcovers, alternated with e-reads.

So, what’s up with this December? I have three huge long reads on hold, and here they are. You might recognise some of them, or you may find a new read. 😸

First, I have Anne Boleyn: A King’s Obsession.

This one has been on my list for years! And only recently did I pick it up, but it is good so far, as I knew it would be, it’s fiction, a Historical Romance novel that you will enjoy if you like that, as I believe I mentioned recently with another Historical story.

Second, and this one I already started and stopped after a few chapters, is The Brightest Night, which I really want to finish, but I have this sense in my gut that I am going to laugh, cry and curse at it before half the book is done. But I will make it through.

Third, is The Red Scrolls of Magic, which is by far the one that I have been longing to read for such a long time that I am astonished that I have not actually read it yet. But I know how soul-catching and attention-grabbing the Shadowhunters books are, so I will probably not come up for air once I go in, and that’s one of the reasons I had not jumped in there. Life is not fair, and I had been busy, that’s another reason.

And those are my main three picks for December. I will probably read 2 out of those three or all of them, the goal is still there. But I have been reading Kuroko no Basuke, so that’s the side story here because reading Manga takes time and more when a whole series is available, and you love it, you just keep reading that until the end. πŸ˜»πŸ€

That’s about it for now, news on what my December will look like, more updates to come, but also be on the lookout on Pinterest and Instagram, I sometimes post updates there or everything related to books. πŸ“š

That’s it for now, lovelies! Thank you for reading to the end, I appreciate the support and love.

Happy Reading and Happy December!
