Male Characters that is… 😏
Hello, dearies! 🙃
Because of a post on one of my favourite book characters, I realised that I haven’t updated or done a book characters from romances in like ever, I have never done it.
So, here we are… I’ll try to keep it short… even when we know that it is not my forte. 😆
Keep in mind, that this is in no particular order, and there are other romance novels characters that could easily be here as well, I just chose the first ten that came to mind.
Jealous n’ Freakn’

Mitchel
Alright, so many of you might not know this romance novel, but it is a fun one. But if you do know it, then you are aware that there are two for 1 on it, but I always go back to Mitchel only, not that Alejandro is not cool, too, it’s just that there is that small characteristic of Mitchel it makes me always gravitate towards the scenes with him.
I get it, I’m not saying much there, but the protectiveness, fun, and loving way of how he is with Francine it makes me re-read this book, all the time.
Teacher (Voyeur series)

Daniel
Darn, but this man.
Despite appearances, and by that I mean the cover of this book, it is not what you think. The story behind how he helps Hannah overcomes her fears and be more confident, and all the while fighting the feelings (common romance things in a book, yes), but it is so well placed and makes me want to have my own copy on my bookshelf, a secret one that only I can see because it is +18, but Daniel is awesome.
The Smoke Thief

Kit
The story of fantasy, independence, dragons, secrets, and eventually, at some point in the book: love.
Kit might have not always been cool or good to Rue, but he tried to change the rules of his people for her and because of him, as well, the story in The Smoke Thief might not been well-known, but I am a huge fan of it, and always come back to it, when this question comes up: Do you know any fantasy romance?
Yes, if you also like Historical, this might be the one for you.
The Time Weaver

Sandu
A bit different than Kit, but still full intrigue, secrets, royalty, fantasy, dragons, and time!
I cannot say that Sandu (Alexandru) is my first choice, or why he is on this list, but he is because by the end of the book I was so enthralled and engaged into their relationship (Honor and him) that was in awe of how much this author can weave into my brain, it’s amazing.
Kissed by a Dark Prince

Lorem
I’m a junkie for fantasy men. And if you add to that, dark, tall, and prince? I’m sold, take me to this other kingdom of yours, leave me there, do not come looking for me.
So, yes, Lorem, who is thousand years old, it doesn’t matter, whatever. Is nearly the holy grail of fantasy/romance/royalty characters that you can read and fall for. I have read this book at least 3 times, two recently, one like ten years ago, and I still think is a great romance, if you know exactly what you want in one.
From me to you, read the book description before diving in because it is not only about the elf kingdom or the humans, it is so much more.
Tempted by a Dark Prince

Vail
This one has definitely become a favourite, I don’t know why someone dark, crazed, or lost is so darned good to read about, but it is. From the first paragraph of this book, I was hook. And then knowing how Vail, and how he was supposed to be instead, even better, give me a copy of a paperback, opened to any page and I’ll read regardless of what chapter it is.
Maybe that was an exaggeration, but it is almost like that.
Human n’ Freakn’

Kendrick
I don’t like either this book cover or the original one, but there’s nothing I can do about it. Don’t judge any of Eve Langlais books by their cover, honestly.
Anyway, Kendrick, also not the only Lead on this book but the one that I kept going in for, I have re-read this book a couple of times, and each time I laughed, giggled, or flat out said: wow, as I read.
He is not my first go-to either, but in this series he is in the top.
Beautiful Oblivion

Trenton Maddox
And now, a must recent read, yet a book that it is not so new, and yet, Trenton remained at the top while I binge-read the whole of The Maddox Brothers Series. I was surprised myself, but he was so honest and real, unlike the others who got on my nerves at times. I can definitely see myself going back to it from time to time.
Beautiful Redemption

Thomas Maddox
Now, Thomas, also from The Maddox Brothers bunch, and at first, I was not entirely happy with him. Like he went after the girl that his brother liked, and didn’t even bother to tell him. That’s harsh.
But in any case, Thomas got over that and then, as I read the rest of the books and the other ones, and after finishing A Beautiful Funeral, I had a whole new appreciation for him, I cannot explain it, but he earned a spot here.
Outlander

Jamie Fraser
Do I need to say more? This might the one that everybody who has read commonly known romances know about, and there’s a TV Show to go with it.
James Fraser, a Scottish man directly from 1743 and into our hands, might have been a bit difficult at first, but his loyalty and love for Claire cannot be compared. Is a really good read.
And that concludes my super, duper list of book characters from romances that I would go back to, and by that I mean, that I would definitely go back and re-read this book solely because of these characters, and the story.
In any case, these are not exactly my top 10 male characters, but they are mixed in there with other romantics.
That’s all from me, I hope you enjoyed my appreciation post of romance novels and their characters, and if you want to read some book reviews related to romance or these characters, you will likely find them here.
Thank you for coming back for more, see you on the next one! 💌📚
