“What are you out here for at this time of night?”

Hello, dearies! 📖

I feel like I don’t say that enough in the past few months. Hope you’re a returning book lover, who likes my blog, but if you’re new, welcome!

Today, I thought and thought about what to write for my next post, and realised that it has been a while since I did a book challenge, so here we are. What better way to show love for books the thinking through all the books you have read in life, and trying to remember the town they were set in, right? Wrong, it’s nerve-wracking because the more you think about it, the less the memories come to you.

However, I will try to name some of the books that are set in small towns.

5 Books Set in Small Towns Challenge

Twilight

When life offer you a dream so far beyond any of your expectactions…

I mean, is the first that comes to mind so I had to say it. Forks. We all went to our maps when the book first came out because we wanted to know where all the cities and towns that Bella was mentioning were, was it just me? I hope not, because I learnt a lot of geography that year.

Beautiful Disaster

I didn’t know I was lost until you found me. I didn’t know what alone was until the first night I spent without you…

I hadn’t realised that this one was set in a small town actually, but according to my searches it kind of is, but I read it and I liked it. It is mostly at University, but it’s in fictional Eakins, Illinois.

Obsidian

…until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up. And then he opened his mouth.

One of my favourite book series is the Lux series, if you haven’t read this one, is a must for YA, fantasy, aliens, you name it, it’s probably there and it’ll be cool. Obsidian is the first book in the saga, series, whatever you want to call it. Set in West Virginia.

Pride and Prejudice

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”

I went to the past I know, and technically Jane Austen didn’t mention where the Bennets lived exactly, but it was a small town near fictional Meryton around Hertfordshire which is a real place.

The Vampire Diaries

“You’ll be mine before the next snow flies.”

The Struggle

I named the whole series, but I should name just the first four books, which are in the fictional town called Mystic Falls, in Virginia. Although I don’t remember that the town was called ‘small’ it felt like it, as everyone knew everyone and everything seemed to happen to them there.

That’s it for now, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the quick challenge, and if you haven’t read some or all of these books, then I recommend that you do. But if you have read them, you know how cool they are.

Thank you for sticking to the end, and I hope you come back for more, but also that you like, share and follow. 📖😊

Happy Reading! 🙂
