I know you like these characters as much as I do, if you don’t then you should, for real, go read these books and fall for these characters, it’s worth it.
If you are just curious, be prepared for a rambling of almost epic proportions. This post will probably make no sense, and this is a warning to bail while you can.

At times, I feel the uncontrollable need to reach inside a book, pull the characters out and hug them, bare in mind I’ll keep to the male ones, just because that’s how it is.
Now, for some of the Male Book Characters in books that I wish I could pull out and hug and comfort them. Here we go.
Book Characters to Hug
Will Herondale
Because no matter how many books I read, Will always comes first when it comes to being miserable and feeling undeserving, I wanted to hug him so badly.
Julian Blackthorn
Another one that I just wanted to crawl inside the book and meet this wonderful shadowhunter that hurt so deeply, it made my heart squeeze for him.
Four
You thought it was just from the Shadowhunters books, well no, there is also Tobias from the Divergent trilogy, but the hug will be quick and just telling him that everything will be alright. And he would understand that and put on a brave face and forge on.
Wolf
From The Lunar Chronicles, if you read the extra short story about him on Stars Above, I think you will agree with me on this one. He deserves some love.
Ty Blackthorn
Another that just makes my heart ache, I want to reach deep into the pages of the book and hug him, although he wouldn’t like that very much, I would ask him first, but still, he deserves everything in the world.
Callum
From the Voyeur Series, and you thought this was only fantasy ones. Well, here’s one that I also had those tiny moments of, aw no, come here don’t worry it’ll all be okay. There were also fanning yourself moments, but that’s another story.
Jack
From The Idhun Chronicles, it was not all the time and sometimes Jack got on my nerves, I won’t lie, but yes, he also made me want to treat him right and that he deserves the girl. And of course, the hugging part.
