So Far: New Harry Potter Tv News 2026 Update

Exciting news! The upcoming HBO Harry Potter series is making us take a turn. Set to premiere late 2026, it’s a fresh journey into the magical world we cherish!

Hello, dearies!

Welcome! As some of you are interested in the show, and I will watch it eventually. I thought it was only fair to update you on the latest. The last news I had was more reluctant, giving in to the pressure on my side.

But this time, I have a calmer approach. 🤭

What’s new with the upcoming HBO Harry Potter Tv show?

We have, as far as I have seen and read online, most of the cast. The Weasleys. Harry. Hermione. And I am not sure if all of the professors at Hogwarts, but at least the main ones.

We also have the Quidditch Team! Check out who is who:

Orson Matthews has joined the cast as the spirited and passionate Gryffindor Quidditch team captain, Oliver Wood. He is joined by talented team members, Asha Soetan as the incredible Angelina Johnson, Eire Farrell as the amazing Katie Bell, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss as the delightful Alicia Spinnet, making for an exciting and dynamic lineup!

I hope that Alicia Spinnet and Katie Bell get more camera time, we knew them well in the books, along with Angelina.

His Dark Materials Trilogy

“Human beings can’t see anything without wanting to destroy it. That’s original sin. And I’m going to destroy it. Death is going to die.”

Books: Northern Lights. The Subtle Knife. The Amber Spyglass

Author: Philip Pullman

Genre: Fantasy, High Fantasy, Science Fantasy

So Fantasy, yes.

I read these books a long time ago so bear with me.

The main thing I always remember about His Dark Materials books is that I found them utterly fascinating and I could not stop reading after finishing the first one, the second and third had to be read and they were far more exciting than the Northern Lights. I’m not going to go into it book by book but probably jump around between the three, I hope you are ready.

We Need to Talk about GOT: Finale

So this is the year of endings, apparently. Shadowhunters TV, The Big Bang Theory, Endgame. I am sure others as well but those are at the top of my mind, and nothing like last Sunday’s GOT Finale, which could not be farther from what I was expecting yet it did not disappoint me in one thing: I was not expecting more than what it happened.

If you thought this would be a complete happy and tearful one, then you are in for a treat. I will not trash it, much. I think. As usual if you have not watched yet and have not read the books, or the last book published A Dance with Dragons, then stop here for the night is dark and full of spoilers.
