Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy

Authors: Cassandra Clare, Sarah Ress Brennan, Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman

Genre: Short Stories, Fantasy, Young Adult

There are so many moments in this one, I will try to be organised and direct.

If you have not read any of the books in the Shadow World, specially The Mortal Instruments, then I seriously recommend that you first read those and then this one, and if you do not know what this one is about or who is the main character, then please stop reading this, because it contains spoilers for those who are new to the Shadowhunters world. That said, welcome and I hope you share my thoughts on this one.

The Maze Runner

Author: James Dashner

Genres: Dystopian, Post-apocalyptic, Science-Fiction

Hello, dearies!

I read The Maze Runner a long time ago, so my memories might be a little too old. I read this one before the movie came out, just to make sure I had all the facts and that in it (the movie) everything was in order. It was accurate enough but many details were missing.

The Maze Runner book though, I remember I read like thirty percent of it and then stopped even though it is a dystopian book I did not feel like carrying on, but then picked it up after reading other books and saying: I have to finish it, I already started. And by the end of it, James convinced me.

50 Shades of Grey

The book and movie that should have been… but wasn’t

I will do this one quick and to the point, sort of.

Maybe not so quick.

Book and Movie

Alright, as many of you may know, I don’t  normally  do movies  here but I haven’t  done 50 shades the book either and since I saw the movie, I felt like I should let it out of my system. Then I decided to make a little combo just for the sake of it and because Jamie is an awesome actor.

FSOG the book

Many of you know that it was originally thought as a Twilight fan fiction, no matter what anyone might try to say to deny that, and let us face it, dearies, the resemblance is there, if you want a short list of how they are alike, then I can give it to you now.

The Sweetest Dark Books

By Shana Abé

Well hello readers! Here we are again. Another book or books, another post full of my inner thoughts.

If you are a regular to Books Everywhere, then you might know Ms. Shana Abé, author of the Drákon Series and many other books. The Drákon Series is by far one of my favourite stories, and of course Shana is one of my absolute favourite authors, since she is one of the few who actually makes me read descriptions and pay attention to the little things in a book (although I know I’ve said that I don’t) because if you don’t know those details, then you end up completely lost and have to go back a chapter or two and find out what truly happened.

But enough of that, you are reading this because you want a new book to read or you love these two in The Sweetest Dark Series. Let us begin.

Where She Went

Author: Gayle Forman

And a little something about: If I Stay

Alright, everyone ready for this?

What.
The.
Heck?

I mean seriously, I spent like 5 or 10 minutes after I was done with the book looking through wiki and Gayle’s official website for another piece of Adam and Mia, and you know what I found? You know it, Nothing!

Take Me Tomorrow

Author: Shannon Thompson

“Tomorrow can take me.” Truest words spoken and we knew it was going to be good.

Take Me Tomorrow a truly different twist in the dystopian genre.

Let it be known, I am not encouraging drug use because we all know that’s bad for your health, but wouldn’t we want to take a pill that would show you the future? Or at the very least, a glimpse of it?
