Hello, dearies!💙
The year is coming to an end. 2024 is around the corner.
What did I watch this year? Surprisingly, I feel like I watched more things this year than the last.
I’ll dive right into it… this one will be short.
Continue reading “2023: What Did I watch this Year?”What did I read this year? In 2023 there were a lot of books in my hands and a lot of Manga, too. But it was a year of Manga in the end, although there were some re-read and new mystery books that I finished. It was a journey.
Hello, dearies! 📚📲
The year 2023 is coming to an end, and I feel like I didn’t read as much I would have other years, but I did because those Manga are long, and even I read them fast it’s still a lot. Though my TBR pile continues to grow and continues to look at me with a longing gaze because I haven’t gone through half of it yet, but it’s my goal next year to read more.
Let’s begin with my what I read in 2023 list though, you might find something you’ll love in it.
(started reading, haven’t finished the ones available)
I’m still reading this one, but I started after the Shibuya incident started (season 2 of JJK) and I couldn’t wait week by week to know what would happen so I started reading and now I am beyond the anime, I know a lot of things that are going to happen next.
If you read The Lunar Chronicles and love it, then this is definitely a most-read, though I do recommend reading after finishing TLC.
Ah, the shadow world, and my obsession with Shadowhunters and Warlocks, and everything in it. The Lost Book of the White just adds to that.
Yeah, I read it. And yes it was alright.
I fell down the rabbit hole and didn’t want to come back out from it at all.
Fruits Basket (2019), checked. Fruits Basket (Manga), checked. Even Fruits Basket (2001 ver), checked. And only 1 conclusion, I have a serious problem with toxic characters but also with protecting damaged ones. It’s a 50-50 thing.
It was a long read, I won’t deny it and sometimes I didn’t think I would make it, but I pushed through it and beyond the storm there were some interesting things about this book that I really enjoyed.
“Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.”
If you follow my blog, you might know already that I don’t have a review for this one. And well, that’s all you need to know about what I thought of the book.
I loved this so much last year that I had to have it on my bookshelf and well, I re-read it too. The first three volumes at least.
I like L❤️DK, but there’s something about it that doesn’t convince me 100%. I still re-read the first 2 volumes and enjoyed it, too. I haven’t finished the whole series though.
I think this was this year, but I can’t remember exactly when… it still a good re-read no matter when. Lux is a favourite series.
I’m sure that I’m missing some re-reads, but these are the books that I read this year. Did you read any of these as well? Let me know in the comments.
Don’t forget to stop by my social media, too, for some fun moment from books, Manga and Anime.
Thank you for reading, dearies!

Tomorrow is December, 1st! Would you be reading Christmas-related books this December? Or any type of books? I usually don’t read Christmas-related ones, but there are some interesting choices I saw online, so I’m sharing them with you today. 😺
These books were published in different years, I meant that this is the list I made for 2023.
Continue reading “14 Christmas-y Books for December”Oh dear… get ready for this one. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Movie is in theaters now.
Here we go…
May the odds be ever in your favor.
Hello, dearies! 🐍
I didn’t think my expectations were high, but they kind of were, I suppose.
Today, I watched The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. And you might remember what I thought of this prequel, and how it was not a 5-star for me.
I’m not going to talk about the acting, or the choices in casting. I gave up on that long ago.
But as a reader, I understood what was happening, but my sis went with me, and after the 10th Hunger Games, she had no idea what was happening 🤔 or where the transition was, it was confusing.

Are you active on TikTok? I created a new filter, this time dedicated to Dystopian Books Old n’ New, if you have some time, don’t be shy and try it out.
You can do book challenges with it, find a new book to read, or rank books depending on what random book you get.
Let me know if you do use it, and you can tag me or share it with your friends who would like it as well. 😊📖
That’s all I have today. Also, look out for the next one about Christmas, holiday-related books. 📚
Thank you for stopping by… and don’t forget to follow if you’re not already. And on social media too.
Happy Watching! 📚🍊
Prepare for some serious ranting.
Fruits Basket (Anime 2001)
Where can I watch it? On Crunchyroll.
Hello, dearies! 🐾
I recently, barely, finished watching Fruits Basket’s original anime (or I would say the crazy 2001 version).
This anime makes no sense.
I’ll jump right into this one. Expect some rambling ahead, and some spoilers if you don’t know about Fruits Basket.

Hello, dearies! 💖
The first time I read Insurgent, it was during the rush of dystopia and just after reading Divergent (or close), and they both made me realise how much I liked Dystopia.
I discovered that this world in the future where everything went to hell was fascinating.

Hello, dearies! 👻
So, some of you might know that I’m on TikTok and that I also love talking and creating new vids about books, manga, and anime over there, as well as some Doramas and anything for that matter.
Anywho, I created a new filter/effect for Mystery Autumn Books, so you can pick your next read, rate a book, talk about a new book, or a classic, or anything you want. I invite you to have fun with it. 😄📚🍂
Mystery Autumn Books
Thank you, dearies!
I hope you’ll enjoy it. 👻🤡📔📚
How many books are in your TBR or in your Bookshelf? There are a lot in mine, but can you find a book with… a red cover, a city in it? Let’s see.
Hello, dearies! 🐲
I haven’t read these books, I think, but here is a new book challenge for find that book with... This, referring to different types of book covers, titles, or anything a book like a flower, city, and the sort.
Alright, alright, I’ll jump straight to it.
