Kon’nichiwa, dearies! ⭐️
I haven’t enjoyed an Anime in a while, but this one had me glued to the screen, and the best was that the second season had just aired this year, so I got to see both in one go, problem now is that I’ll have to wait for season 3. Or I can read the Light Novel and not wait for that, so I bought the first one, it’s waiting on my Kindle.
After saying that, let’s recap on Classroom of the Elite, an anime that makes you doubt everyone and start saying, repeatedly, don’t trust them.
This one was originally a Light Novel, then a Manga, and then an Anime, so you can tell they really liked and believed in this story. And even when it’s supposedly oriented to Seinen, don’t look at the label, I don’t. It can be watched by anyone who enjoys school life, suspense, drama anime.
Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu
So, moving on, this story is all about moving up the classes, teaching students to move up the ladder of society or the world basically, but… by all the wrong means, and how it all works and favours, bribes, payments, under-wraps deals and all the background backstabbing things of the world is what they have to think about and learn to move up.
I’m not lying, that’s basically it.
But, other than that, there are characters who want to up in the world and leave this school to become someone important in the real world, and for that, they’ll need to be in Class A because it seems Class D is where all the rejects are, but then if that were the case then there shouldn’t be a Class D, so anyone in this school is either rich, connected, or something else that we are yet to find out in the anime.
We have seen glimpses of how mental they all are, but only now, in season 2 is it really starting to show what we have been asking since episode 1, who the hell is Ayanokōji Kiyotaka? And what’s the deal with him?
This is why, after watching the two seasons you will want to grab a copy of the light novel or the manga and find out more.
Yeah, that’s about it; you will definitely like the whole story and how addictive it can all be, I really enjoyed it. Now, for some of the characters.
Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu Characters
- 綾小路 清隆, Ayanokōji Kiyotaka
Main character, as in, the main if you think another one will be sharing the spotlight, he will eventually outshine them.
- 堀北 鈴音, Horikita Suzune
The one you thought was the love interest, if this were a romance story, but don’t cheat yourself it’s not; she’s just the almost second main character.
- 櫛田 桔梗, Kushida Kikyō
I’m torn, if I say something or nothing it’ll be a spoiler. So, you might guess how this character is after a few episodes.
- 軽井沢 恵, Karuizawa Kei
The one that can be manipulated, almost. But then not so much, and the one that took it all and didn’t break.
- 龍園 翔, Ryūen Kakeru
One of the characters you want to punch in the face.
- 一之瀬 帆波, Ichinose Honami
The most suspicious, not suspicious character.
- 坂柳 有栖, Sakayanagi Arisu
You thought she was just a mastermind, but it seems it’s a bit more than that.
- 茶柱 佐枝, Chiyabashira Sae
The homeroom teacher, who seems more than a little ambitious.
That’s about it from me, dearies! I recommend it, and once I read the light novel, I’ll let you know further if it’s all worth it or how I liked it.
Have you watched this anime? If so, no spoilers, and none either if you read the books. And if you watch it after reading this then awesome, let me know too. Don’t forget to like, share, and follow, you know all the things you do online. It means a lot to see your likes.
Thank you for coming back or visiting for the first time, and I hope you will return.
Happy reading! 🍱 And happy watching! 👨💻
