Who does not know about Sakura Kinomoto, right? In some capacity, you know her or have seen her at one point or another in your life. I’d like to clarify, this is about the manga but the anime is of course what made us start loving everything about this world.
I loved this Manga. I really didn’t think it would be possible to be surprised or to like something more when I supposedly knew everything from the Anime. I was wrong.
When I first started reading (this was after watching the Anime a thousand million times since my teenage years), I thought “Okay, this is good” and then… I couldn’t stop, it was that consuming, like most great Mangas (because it is a great one) you just get sucked in, and cannot stop until the very last drop of ink is gone.
So yes, I thought it was good and thought it had some messed up things here and there, but didn’t really think twice about it, since I already kind of knew about the 20+ age difference between a teacher and a student relationship, what I didn’t know was what happened towards the end, about Sakura’s father real identity, spoiler? I’m not saying what it is and if you are a fan you know already, but yes, something happens that it’s not shown on the Anime, spoiler again, I’m sorry, I don’t know what it is up with me on this one.
Anyways, this one is short and I actually just wanted to point out just how great the Manga was, and that I would read it again, and that if I ever go to Japan (when I go, one day) I would walk into a bookstore and purchase the Manga, the whole collection, I don’t how but I will.
Have you read this one? Did you just watch the Anime? Because I thought before reading it that I was cool with that, knowing only the facts from the Anime, but no, this was way better to know and actually clarifies a couple of things.
OH! I love Yue! I just wanted to say that. Not Yukito, Yue. And Syaoran, of course.
I’m done, for now, I invite you to stay in touch and check out my IG and Pins, and if you have a hankering for generosity you can always do that on the new Buy me a Coffee bottom on your right, that’s the one.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like Sakura when you read it.
True story: I didn’t know if I was going to be able to pay this year’s domain but got a few extra bucks from work, and was able to do it. Just wanted to let you know, and rest assured I still do this for the love of reading and talking about it, but if you feel like sharing the blog with friends and family, I would greatly appreciate it.
