I was going to do this and discuss whether Horimiya was an acquired taste or not, but looking further into that expression and what actually means, it might have been an innate taste for me.

So, an acquired taste is when you get accustomed to something after going over and over to it, right? And that might be the case for some.

Horimiya (Hori to Miyamura) is one of those that I first watched the anime then read the manga, but it’s alright, you can do it like that as well, there’s not much difference in the story, except for the ending of the Manga, that’s a plus for us readers.
