Hello, dearies!

Here’s another that I didn’t think I would create or read, but life has its turns and here we are.

I enjoyed Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, even when the YA part got a little exaggerated and I was fighting with the main character out aloud alone in my room.

First Reads during the New Year 📚

🎉🎈Happy 2021 🎉🎈

Hello, dearies! I hope your New Year’s holiday was full of light and safety. It seems that’s what we’re wishing these days, but that’s life during pandemics.

Did you read a lot? I started reading (again… *cough* again a second time) The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon, aka Outlander 5 and I want to finish this want, but it’s long, and I haven’t had the focus to really enjoyed, I started in December but didn’t continue because there were too many distractions, family and work and you know the drill, the mundane who would not let you sit down and enjoy the book. So, I started a secondary book that ought to be shorter and quicker, and well, I’m still reading it, though I’d had a few good laughs, it’s completely different from TFC, I don’t know if you watched the movie (I have, a couple of times) but I’m reading Confessions of a Shopaholic, and it’s quite funny to see how Rebbeca finds excuses in the oddest most absurd ways to buy something, which I suppose is the point but in the book is so much in your face then it’s in the movie, but I am not reviewing right now, I was telling a story of what I’m reading, and those are the two on my phone. As for paperbacks, I have The Red Scrolls of Magic, Magnus and Alec from the Shadowhunters world, which I really, really want to read but I also want to concentrate on it. And I have a hardcover, The Brightest Night, this one, I’m more afraid than anything else to read because I feel like I’m going to be absorbed completely, and also I may cry and laugh in equal amounts.

But those are the ones I have at the top of the TBR, I’m leaving the list of these 4 next, in case you want to add them to your own list.

Books on the List

When You See Me

Original Title: Cuando Me Veas

Author: Laura Gallego

Genres: YA, Drama, Fiction

I feel I must warn you that this one is full of Spoilers, as in I will immediately tell you what happened at the end of the book, because it got stuck in my mind and I could not stop replaying it. So if you want to read this book at some point, I do not suggest you read this, only know that it is good and I absolutely recommend it, since most (All) of Laura’s books that I have read in my life are so freaking good, that it is unbelievable. Like: Idhun’s Memories.

Now, let us begin with some details about the book, and once again, there are spoilers ahead.
