A DNF Book: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Hello, dearies!

It’s been a while since I sat down and wrote a story to tell you. But recently I began a new vlog series on the channel: Shelf Stories. 📖

And of course, I naturally wanted to come and tell you about it since you have been with me the longest here on the blog. So, one of the stories I have is about a book I didn’t finish, which is not my favourite kind to tell. And The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society novel is one I always think about, perhaps because I don’t like having unfinished things. 😆

What about it? Why didn’t I finish this book?

It’s nothing major, I simply opened it, read a few pages, and then closed it and didn’t pick it up again.

I was super excited when I bought this book ages ago, but then when I began reading it, that happened… I hadn’t realised that it was letters only, and probably if I had paid more attention online or the description of the book, I could have prevented it, I don’t believe it would have prevented me from buying it, but definitely I would have had some questions.

In any case, it is now on my shelf, filling out the space. Now I want to know, should I give it another shot someday, or let it keep decorating the shelf? Vote in the comments. 😅
