Yes, we sort of already knew about it.
But it was not confirmed, confirmed, and there was no date but now there it is! So excited about seeing The Lunar Chronicles.

Now, recently Marissa Meyer, announced the official date for the movie or she told us to go read the news on Deadline.
And even when it doesn’t say much other than it will be in theaters in Nov. 3, 2028, I’m still going to wait for it, three years, is not much, right? Right? (it is *whispered sigh*).
Now, was I expecting more than that bit of news, maybe. Perhaps some sort of draft of what to expect? Perhaps. But hey, at least there is news and it is positive news.
Should we be worried that they might blend all of the books into one movie? I am, because it is all vague. And while perhaps you could do Cinder and Scarlet together, and Cress and Winter (a bit of a stretch due to the length of the books), or perhaps The Keeper, Glitches, and Cinder together. To bring all main 4 books into one movie? I really don’t think that will be the case but if it is, expect a lot of Cinder and lot less of Scarlet, Cress (even less), and Winter (probably more), because of the main story plot, perhaps Cinder would be at the front the whole way? Spoiler? I assume everyone reading this, would know about these books but if not, by all means go read them, lol.

Why the concern? Because of this part of the Deadline’s article: “Noëlle Raffaele is directing this adaptation of the author’s toms which blends sci-fi with fairytales.“
It’s not very specific, is it? But once more, I will try not to jump to conclusions, and wait patiently for further news on The Lunar Chronicles adaption, which is happening as of right now, hopefully, it will not be pushed back or anything.
