Hello, dearies! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ…

Welcome to a new spoiler time Sunday, this time it’ll be for Scarlet, book #2 in The Lunar Chronicles Saga.

Heads-up, I love these books. ๐ŸŒ’

So, I might have more of these coming up. There’s a lot to say about these books that might be spoiler.

I’ll start it off. โ†˜๏ธโš ๏ธ

  • Who is Wolf in Scarlet?

Well, we all that Scarlet is Little Red Riding Hood or she’s supposed to be, this retelling is more or less the same but with the adult (YA) twist to it. Suffice it to say that Wolf is not human, he was not bit or was born a werewolf either.

But the truth we find about him it’s mind-blowing as he is not from earth, but from Luna. There I said it, I can’t believe I did.

Scarlet spends some time trying to figure out who is and why does he seem so suspicious at times.

  • Does Wolf betray Scarlet?

Well, he is a wolf, a predator, isn’t he? Nah, I’m joking. That’s not the reason that he sort of does betray Scarlet when they go in their little journey. It’s complicated, he wants to do things right on two different accounts. And takes a toll on him, which we continue to see happen in book #3 Cress and book #4 Winter.

You really can just read Scarlet, but you will be left hanging for a lot of things, so you’ll eventually want to read all 4 books in the saga.

However, there is also the short stories from Stars Above, which give more insight into the main plot of The Lunar Chronicles.

I wanted to give more spoilers on this one, but I always hold myself back a bit because I would give it all away. But would you want that? Because I can answer specific questions if you have any, just let me know in the comments or a DM on social media.

So, I’ll just finish this one up to here. I know, it’s a bit shorter than the other spoiler Sundays I have done, but I think this should be enough to spike your curiosity about the book. There’s also a few particular scenes between Wolf and Scarlet that are the highlight of the book. I really liked.

This one turned out into a fest of me recommending the book, but I cannot help myself. The Lunar Chronicles are really something.

Have you read this book? Or this saga? I always recommend it to those who like fairytales, retelling, and a bit of dystopia, too.

That’s all from my side, thank you for sticking to the end, dearies! I hope you enjoyed this Sunday Spoiler, don’t forget that I have more. You can also subscribe and get a notice whenever a new one is live. I really appreciate all the likes and shares. ๐Ÿฐโค๏ธ
