Welcome to a new rambling about a book character.

If the me of ten years ago would have written this, it’d be a simple: Love him.

Alas, I am not that person 😸 and after the second time I read the whole saga from Hush Hush to Finale without stopping, well I took a break with the last book, but still, I thought that I wouldn’t enjoy them as much as the first time but I did, even if I noticed and did not gloss over the fact that this was essentially an enemy to lovers to story with angels and possessions and a whole lot of other things thrown in there that should really make the book not YA, but as it is all so mild and in high school apparently it gives the right to make Patch as possessive, handsome and hot as one would like.

Sorry that took a turn into the books and not Patch Cipriano, a fallen angel who we learn to love by half to end of book one, and after that, it is a matter of continuing the books and story and wishing for more of him, his double-meaning jokes and those glimpses of Nora and Patch that makes you want to be inside the book. Hey, I did say he was handsome and sexy (hot?) whichever, he is.

But what gets me more is how after all these years and all the books I have read, he is still in that top 10 list, if we’re talking about YA Fantasy romances that is because if we go into another type of books that’d be a different kind of list.

Alrighty, I think I have made my point clear about Patch, the fallen angel who hated the main character and then suddenly took a turn like all good YA books, it has to be, you don’t go into that type of book looking for suspense, no romance, you go for the HEA or the broody male character, it’s true. Well, most of the time.

So, question, have you read the Hush Hush Saga? Do you know Patch Cipriano and his awesomeness? I still recommend the books, so there’s definitely there.
