Seduced by a Demon King [Eternal Mates #17] Book Review

The book that shocked me. 📚

Hello, dearies! 🏝️

Welcome to the blog and a new review in the world of Eternal Mates, this time for Seduced by a Demon King, which is book 17 in the saga.

The saga that I didn’t I would keep on reading for so long, yet, here I am because it seems I am a fan.

Being Seduced by This Demon King surprised me 😄. Why? Because I didn’t think I would like it better than others, but I did.

First things first, though, the general book details.

Title: Seduced by a Demon King

Series: Eternal Mates Book #17

Page Count: 393 pages (felt like less)

Joy = Reading

One simple thing you do? And it brings joy? You know my answer.

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

It might sound like that’s all, but hey, reading brings joy to my days. I do escape reality with them, and even if it is not a fantasy one, it still is better to go in and spent hours in it, although sometimes I can’t read for that long, unless I decide to set work aside and life, and everything because the plot is way too good to put my book down. 😆

My BookShelves Were Not the Norm

How often to you rearrange your bookshelves? 😸

Hello, dearies! 📚📚

Welcome to a new bookish adventure with me, but not a travelling one as the previous ones, but rather one where my bookshelves were a bit of a mess, manga, paperbacks, hardcovers, light novels, music, and all my new themed decor were there, without any meaning and getting lost to be honest.

So, what did I do?

You know it, a bookshelf re-organisation was due.

Avenged by an Angel [Eternal Mates #16] Book Review

But when the price of vengeance is the soul of the angel bringing her back to life, will Emelia be willing to pay it?

So much hope… I had so many hopes for it. 😶‍🌫️

Title: Avenged by an Angel

Book Series: Eternal Mates

Author: Felicity Heaton

Genres: Angels (duh). Paranormal. Fantasy. Romance. Fates ones. Demons. Dragons.

Page count: 306 or so pages

Hello, dearies! 🪽

At this point, you might have noticed that I like these books 😆 I cannot seem to stop myself from buying them. Since I picked up the Eternal Mates series again, I have not been able to stop until I get to the bottom of it all. Although, the last one I read seemed to take a small turn, a wee one from what I had read on this one and book #17. Alright I’m getting ahead of myself because I read 3 of these in a row.

I shall focus on Avenged by an Angel, which I had wanted to read since book 7? The one on Taken by a Dragon, I think; like honestly, I knew this one was coming at some point and when I began reading, it all seemed to point in the right direction, and then? To be honest, I stopped reading for a bit, it was kind of predictable, but I still read it and liked it, but was not as: whoa! As I had expected.

Shadowhunter Chronicles News: Late to the party?

OMG. OMG. Oh by the Angel! 🤗

I’m totally fangirling right now, and I don’t care if I’m late to the party, or don’t know when this was first announced, it is still not out, and I have a lot of reading to re-do and to catch-on.

I saw a new novel in the Shadowhunter world is coming in 2026, and is the one that I was hoping for… 🎊 even if it is the last trilogy of the Shadowhunter books, and I’m sad about that, I still cannot wait!

Update 2026 is at the end.

Beyond the Wand: Book Review

It was fulfilling towards the end…

Hello, dearies! 🪄

I haven’t done a review like this one before… 📚

Book Title: Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard

Author: Tom Felton

Genres: Actor Biography. Nonfiction. Rich & Famous Biographies. Memoir. Autobiography.

Page count: 288 pages

I didn’t give it 5 stars because he is Tom Felton, but it might have something to do with it, maybe for the last half point to reach 5.

Five Fingers Book Challenge pt. 2

The 5 Fingers Book Challenge is back… now to pick other 5 books. 📖✋️

Hello, dearies! Welcome to a new book challenge! 😊

For this second round I went with books that I don’t have on paperback but I wish I did. 📚

So, I don’t have a photo of my hand on each book as last time, but that is okay, too. 😆 Regardless, the basics remain, and each finger is for a book.

Saw 2025 Reading Firsts Book Tag and Had to Do it

First Book Read? A Debut novel? A new author? It is all in here! 📖

Welcome, everyone! 😺

Sometimes there are cool book tags and challenge in different blogs, and I miss on those, but I saw this one! The 2025 Reading Firsts Book Tag, and here we are!

Originally by Pam – ReadBakeCreate, or that is what I gathered, but I first read it on jillianthebookishbutterflyblog.

Book Lovers: Can you see it all?

Am I visible in your feed? 📚

Hello, dearies! 🖐️

Can you see my latest blog posts just fine? Lately it feels like the newest content is getting lost in translation, pun not intended, but speaking of which, the blog can be translated to other languages automatically.

Going back to the point, is it that I have posted too many bookish, miscellaneous, lists, and not enough book reviews? It has always been that way in this blog, that’s why I have tried to keep it all very organised with the pages, but do let me know if you’d like an extra layer of where to find the book reviews vs book challenges vs reviews on movies or TV Shows, because those are not as frequent but are also available on the Miscellaneous page here on the blog.

Two Starfields Libraries: 1 of Me

Personal experiences visiting Starfield Libraries in Seoul and Suwon.
Highlight? Book lovers should visit.

Welcome, dearies! ✈️

Once more we’re going on a bookish adventure in Seoul. 📚

Now onward to Starfield. 😺 There are two of these libraries in South Korea, well, as far as I know. The first time, I only visited the one in COEX Mall, but in 2024 I had to cover more ground and see more bookish spots because I was a bit shy the first time.
