I’m totally fangirling right now, and I don’t care if I’m late to the party, or don’t know when this was first announced, it is still not out, and I have a lot of reading to re-do and to catch-on.
I saw a new novel in the Shadowhunter world is coming in 2026, and is the one that I was hoping for… 🎊 even if it is the last trilogy of the Shadowhunter books, and I’m sad about that, I still cannot wait!
The Wicked Powers
Now, I have been waiting for this since the Queen of Air and Darkness, since the first book in The Dark Artifices Trilogy, since Ty and Kit and all of the Blackthorns appeared back in The Mortal Instruments.
And a new trilogy is on the way for Ty, Kit, and Drusilla, isn’t that something? If you are a fan of the Shadowhunter books as I am! Then you will definitely be excited about this one.
If you have never read a book by Cassandra Clare, and have no clue about The Mortal Instrumentals, The Dark Artifices, The Last Hours, The Eldest Curses or The Infernal Devices, then well, my excitement must be lost on you by now, but it is a big deal. And I cannot wait to read the first book in the upcoming The Wicked Powers: The Last King of Faerie.
Like I was glad and happy, and everything when I started reading The Last Hours Series, I only read Chain of Gold so far, and not Chain of Iron (2021). Chain of Thorns (2023). But I will for sure. But when I read that one, which was the last books published in the Shadowhunter Chronicles, it was cool and all, but when I read about the new trilogy my mind and soul went back years to when I first started fangirling and committing to these books. 🥰📚
I cannot wait to read it.
And once I have finished reading these other 2 books, that I know I’m late to reading them, but I will go all in for sure. I am almost scare of starting again and finishing it.
