If it is not an easy 5, I have to give it 4.

I wanted to give this one 5 so badly, and the first 10% to 60% I read non stop, there it was the juicy part and the angst, the falling for the characters.

I started off this one without any greeting but I had to get it out first. Well then… what was missing in Unchained by a Forbidden Love? What made me rethink and not go for the top rating? Probably the repetitive moments or long internal dialogues.

I get it, they were necessary at some points to convey the dilemma of Fuery, not so much with Shaia, she was a bit annoying to be honest.

But, sometimes it was too much, sometimes I said: yes, yes, I got it already.

And that can be bad or good depending on the situation, I liked it better than Claimed by a Demon King, Marked by an Assassin, and even the one about Bleu (Possessed by a Dark Warrior), which I thought I would like more. But still, it was not the same as Book 1 and 3 in the series. So, I gave it a 4.5 to be honest but that doesn’t show on Kindle, so 4 there. 😅

Once more, that took some time but I am done with the notes and quotes from Unchained by a Forbidden Love and all came down to a lovely quote and how they were eternal and in love. Also, they were mated all along just that the darkness was intercepting their bond… yeah, that was it.

That’s how I can summarise the book. 😉

But being serious, I enjoyed it and I did like reading about Fuery. I will also read book #18, but 16 and 17 are also on my TBR, I won’t deny it so I am torn between skipping ahead or following the order. Do not despair, dearies! I will update here as soon as I have read all of these or just the one, it’s difficult to choose.
