Hello, dearies! 💜
This one acts as a TBT because I had read this one before, but I re-read it again recently and it almost felt like the first time 😄.
I could barely remember what happened on this one, but one thing was clear, I didn’t misremember the fact that I freaking loved this book. I knew there was a reason for me to like Tempted by a Rogue Prince so much (book #3 in this series). It’s all because of the incredibly honest princes here. Wow.
Kissed by a Dark Prince
If I would have remembered half of what happens in this book when I was reading Claimed by a Demon King or Tempted by a Rogue Prince than I would have liked them more, although, I stand by my review of Claimed by a Demon King. But yes, after re-reading Book #1 in the Eternal Mates series once more, with fresh eyes, and knowing where it’s headed, I was hooked all over and I understand why book #4 is for Kyter, though I’m still going to jump ahead for the other characters in book one and two that I want to know what happens, you’ll see those in upcoming reviews.
No, I have not shifted the blog from all types of reviews to Romance/Fantasy book reviews, I just being reading this series by Felicity Heaton that I had on stand by since forever, and well, when I get into a book saga, I stay there for a bit. That’s just how it is.
But, taking a side road here, I have a plan for this year 2024 (Year of The Dragon) and it’s to read more of the books on my TBR because it’s just getting out of control, and last year I didn’t read as much as I would have liked.
End of the side road. So, back to Kissed by a Dark Prince, book #1 in the Eternal Mates series, which has like 20 books or something, but I don’t think I’ll get that far this time. The first book though, fantasy, darkness, fated mate, four thousand years-old prince? Sign me up, that’s what I’m talking about when fantasy hits my hands. I really liked this one and I wanted to stay in it with Olivia and Lorem, just drop me there and don’t return me to earth, thank you, bye.
That’s how much I liked yes, and why it deserved a fresh review here, though I hadn’t talked about this book before but I should have.
I don’t remember how many years ago it was when I first read it, but this is from 2013, to me it’s still 2021 so yeah, I don’t usually look at the date a book was released anymore, I just know they are in my TBR and if I added them there, it’s because I must have liked either the cover (guilty*) or the description or the title of the book, those can get to me as well. I don’t usually pay much attention to whether it has 5 stars or 1 because I know that we all have our own opinions. Do you pay attention to the amount of stars a book have? If it’s a product that I’ll buy, then I read some of the reviews, but with books I try to form my own opinion first then see if others thought the same.
But that’s another topic, for now, I would re-read Kissed by a Dark Prince easily again and again, and might look for the paperback because I want it in my collection. I love fantasy books and this one fell right into all the categories of what I enjoy the most. Romance. Fantasy. A story to follow. A Touch of darkness. The same happened with Tempted by a Rogue Prince, book 3 in this Series.
I got a little carried away there, so the point is, I recommend this book and I would re-read it again. And again.
That’s all for this one on today’s TBT, hope you enjoyed and found a new book to read. Don’t forget to check my other romance and not romance book reviews, here on the blog.
Thank you! Happy reading! ❤️🌸
