Welcome to a new book review, this time for Claimed by a Demon King, book #2 in the Eternal Mates series (I would say saga, there are a lot of books).

By the title and the cover of the book you might guess what’s this is about… yes, romance adult fantasy book, do not leave it out where anyone can see, keep it away from underage readers. Is that type.

And hot, too. Turn on the spice and even though I have read some books that are spicier… read the Voyeur series (*said in a murmur). Despite all of that, it was a good read.

Well, clearly there will be some spoilers on this one because I can’t help it.

Thorne is a king of Hell, yes, there are various Hell realms. And he has found his fated mate, none other than a human named Sable. These names are a little odd, but not so much.

They start the ancient dance of I don’t want you, I want you until she cracks and finally faces her feelings.

The end.

I’m kidding! 😂

While Thorne tries to wins over Sable’s heart, they have to fight off some baddies and hope that the king stays in the throne and does not lose it over a war, that makes little sense to me. Unless that was explained on book 1, Kissed by a Dark Prince (Eternal Mates, #1), which I did read but it was long ago, so I don’t remember all of it. I do know I liked it, but I would have to re-read it for details. You know how it is.

In any case, Thorne has known all his life that he will meet someone that is meant for him because apparently that’s just how it is, and it’s all his thousand of years, he was never with anyone else and he waited patiently for Sable, and discovered that he had no game, but in his ‘sweetness’ as old-fashioned and perhaps demon-like as it is, he manages to win her over and they save his kingdom, barely actually, it was a war-war. I mean no other type, but there was a lot of violence in there, not as much as in book 3, which I’ll talk about in my next post.

So, yeah, I was very entertained with Thorne and Sable and their hot encounters, hot sex with a demon, what can possibly go wrong there? Nothing much really, but do not be tricked by anything, read the title and the description, he is a demon, claws and horns and the whole package, so if that’s a trigger warning of some sort, then don’t read and move on to the next one with the pretty elves. They are kind of dark elves, but hey, that doesn’t stop me from reading.

Now, I’m really done with this one. I do recommend these books if you like romance and supernatural, they caught my attention. 🫢😈
