Is Horimiya an acquired taste or an innate one?

It was an instant enjoyment of Horimiya, but is it an acquired or innate taste? For others… what is it like?

what about horimiya?

Hello, everyone! 💬

I was going to do this and discuss whether Horimiya was an acquired taste or not, but looking further into that expression and what actually means, it might have been an innate taste for me.

So, an acquired taste is when you get accustomed to something after going over and over to it, right? And that might be the case for some.

But an innate taste, apparently, is when you enjoy something at once without being exposed to it previously, which is sort of what happened to me. I watched a photo or the name, or something and went to check out the anime and wam! I was hooked, I couldn’t stop watching this anime (binge watched) and then read the manga without stopping either.

All of that said. Is Horimiya an acquired taste? I’m seriously thinking about this because I saw some not so hyped reviews around and thought: who cannot watch this? The intro is great, the anime (even if it is 12 episodes) is incredible, and you get your basic romance, high school life, and drama all in one neat package. But, I suppose, it is, maybe possible, that it is not for everyone.

For me, it was instant. For others maybe they have to watch it a second time, or simply not like it.

It is strange but hey, no judgment here.

So, what do you think? Have you watched or heard of Horimiya? This is known as Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, too.

I love playing the anime in the background, also great for learning. And I am collecting the manga, so I am fan. 😄

Well, that’s my rant of the day. Let me know in the comments what you think, and don’t forget to like, share, and follow the blog for more, if you are not a member already.

Until next one! 😊
