Welcome, everyone! 🧳
Did you know about this new series into my bookish adventures in Seoul? I decided to go to some of the bookstores there last year, and wow 🥰 it was amazing.
The first one was for Arc n Book, there is also a haul vlog for it.
But today is about YP Books (Young Poong Books), the one in South Korea, Seoul: 168-151 Haengdang-dong Seongdong-gu. ‘Wangsimni Station’ Exit 12. There are other branches of it.
How did I get here?
I took the subway, nah, that’s not what I meant. I mean I did take it and got off at Wangsimni but it was by chance that I looked up when I was outside of it and saw in the distance the sign for YP Books and said to my sister: hey, must be a bookstore or something, I have to go!
I didn’t, we went someplace else, walked around that part of the city, and then, a couple of days later came back and went to this bookstore. 😆
YP Books
It is not only about the books though. Youngpoong Bookstores also sell gifts, small electronics, stationery and all manner of every day cute things you might want to get. At least that is how it is for most readers and for me.
I actually had to control myself from throwing stuff into my basket.
Even when this wasn’t like Arc n Book in aesthetics, I did feel like there was a bit more to it, perhaps? At least for the manga, I could have spent hours there looking through them all. If you’re a reader then you know how that goes for sure.
If you’re interested in walking or seeing more of it, there’s the footage of my walking tour on YouTube, or here, because I am nice like that, and you can watch it here:
There is more on my Channel if you’d like to check it out.
That’s it from me, dearies! I still have another bookish adventure to share with you, it’ll be here on the blog soon, so remember to follow to get a notification when I post it. 😆
Thank you for stopping by, and don’t forget to like, share, comment your favourite moments or if you have visited these bookstores, or would love to, anything is good, don’t be shy. 😊
See you on the one! Happy Watching! 📚
