Hello, dearies! 🍿
Last year is not far away 🤭 but it seems like the year was quite extensive when I look back on what I watched.
Some of my favourites are here, and some not so favourite.
It is quite a list so I’ll name them next.
What was on my screen in 2024?
The Dragon Prince Season 6
(and 5 again)

I cannot can over how the past seasons had been, and season 7 of The Dragon Prince is being just as interesting as the rest. I’m still watching.
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (rewatch)

I cannot even begin to say how much I enjoy, dislike, and absolutely would re-watch again this drama. Not only because of the good performances in it, but because it hurts and it’s beautiful all at the same time. IYKYK.
The Watchers (Movie)

The one that was a shocker for me. I didn’t think I would like The Watchers to be honest, but the more I watched the more I was sucked into the story because of the fairy, dark, and mystery of it.
The Kitchen (Movie)

Now, it really bugs me, when I have high hopes for a film, more so if it is dystopian and I don’t get what I was promised for it. This was totally the case with The Kitchen:
Izi lives in a future London where social housing is gone, leaving only one community called “The Kitchen,” which is threatened by the wealthy. He works at Life After Life, a funeral service that helps families who can’t afford burials by turning their loved ones into trees that they can visit until they are planted.
Deadpool n Wolverine (Twice)

Need I say more? I do, lol.
It was not the best movie ever, I admit it, but I liked it more than the other Deadpools, there I said it. 😮 #sorrynotsorry
Tarot

I cannot even begin to say how disappointing this one was, but I was committed to finishing it, so I did.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder

I, surprisingly, liked it more than the book and I was more excited to watch AGGGTM more than I was when I read and finished the book. 👍
The Last Airbender

I binge-watched The Last Airbender, so that must be good, no? Just me? I liked enough. 😄
Dune 2

Maybe my expectations were too high since the first movie was so good and accurate (enough), but the second left out some bits at the end, still great.
Pride and Prejudice
(2005, for the hundredth time)

How can I not watch it over and over? It’s a fun movie and accurate enough movie, even if it is missing a bunch of parts from the stories, I know that. I still love it. 💗
3 Body Problem

The one show that makes you think about everything and anything in the universe.
The Acolyte

It took me a while to watch, but when I did start I couldn’t stop. That almost always happens when it is a Star Wars-related film or show. 😆
Miss Night and Day

Another one that took me a bit to watch but I did enjoy it a lot.
Spoiler description: it tells the story about a job seeker who is suddenly stuck in old age one day and a prosecutor who is caught up in her all the time.
Agatha All Along

Wow. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, and it turned out that in the end, the show was not even about Agatha (spoiler? Yes it is), if you watch it you’ll know what I mean.
Avatar: The Way of the Water
(again because I liked it)

I was on the plane and the movie was there… I had to re-watch it. 😄💗
Actually, I watched a lot more than this, but I cannot remember right now, it was a long year.
How about you, dearies? Did you watch any of these, too?
